Reminds me of myself. Around a decade ago I wanted to be a streamer. Changed my legal name to The Streamer, had a Twitch channel called TheStreamer, and got hate gossiped and shunned by everyone on there. Became a trucker, deleted my Twitch, and I’m fine without it.

Kinda sounds like the man desires to become what he must become, which is a desire he's not walking away from

for the sake of the Truth, still it hurts, but it will not always be like that, one day we will not have to choose between two loves... Right! 😟🤭🌴🙏🩹🎵🎶

You can develop this trait. Pick a few non-negotiable standards for the person you want to become and follow it to the best of your ability.

Modern luxury is the ability to think clearly, sleep deeply, move slowly, and live peacefully in a world designed to prevent all four.

That’s the kind of discipline most men never learn. Walking away from what you want so you can become who you’re meant to be — that’s real power. A man who can do that doesn’t belong to anyone.

Most people will spend a lifetime indulging in their desires only to regret it later when they realize giving up their desires was the price to become the best version of themselves.

When one stops seeking comfort from the outside world, to become oneself becomes a sober yet lonely burden.

A lot of freedom comes from being able to say no to what you want now for something bigger later.

The hardest part may be deciding who you “ought to become” — and whether that ideal is truly yours or something you inherited from others. What desire would you give up for the person you want to become?

the real flex is wanting something and still choosing your own peace over it. thats the kind of discipline they dont teach you.
