When a leftist hack tries to say Abdul El-Sayed is not a signatory to an open letter supporting the Muslim Brotherhood government of Egypt under Morsi, and hilarity ensues.
But it is. “Dr. Abdul Rahman El-Sayed” of New York (during his time at Columbia University) was the 33rd signature affixed to the letter. gate.ahram.org.eg/News/27664… ٣٣ـ د / عبد الرحمن السيد نيويورك

Translated: “We, as leaders of the Egyptian community, support the revolutionary decisions taken by the president, and w e call upon him to purge the media and the police as quickly as possible. “While we do not conceal our concern about the existence of such powers in the hands of the president, we would like the president to clarify that this supplementary constitutional declaration will end as soon as the writing of the constitution is completed. “We affirm that, as Egyptian Americans, we strongly reject those voices that court America and Europe in order to induce them to take a position against the Egyptian regime, and we will stand united in support of the elected president.” 2/

Yes, El-Sayed signed a letter in Arabic in 2012 calling on the new Muslim brotherhood government in Egypt to crack down on dissenters. It’s so outrageous that people think that it must be made up right-wing propaganda, but it’s real. 1/

Abdul would rather see Israel fall than the Islamic Republic of Iran. This is a man who should not be a United States senator.

“This year it’s like choosing between drinking a glass of Coke or a glass of Drano drain cleaner.” 🎯
Voters tend not to turnout for midterms because historically the difference between the two parties has been functionally negligible--it's always been like choosing between Coke or Pepsi. This year it's like choosing between drinking a glass of Coke or a glass of Drano drain cleaner. Folks who don't stay up on politics simply are unaware that the Democrat Party has been absorbed by a Communist/Jihadist alliance bent on destroying the Constitution and the American way of life. You might not like Coca-Cola. But drinking Drano will end your life.

60 Minutes is the biggest bag of shit program on television. Anyone who thought new ownership (Ellisons) and management (Bari Weiss) would fix 60 Minutes was wrong. Lesley Stahl is the biggest hack in the history of “journalism.”

Another reply/block coward, this time named @StefanK1117 There’s nothing Islamophobic about noticing when someone is lying and anti-American.

Neither grace nor substance were present. Just a word salad and refusal to disavow anti-Americanism.

It is a completely legitimate question and not because you’re a Muslim It’s legitimate to ask because: 1) your sister repeatedly claimed your family had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) 2) you supported Morsi in 2012 who was MB 3) you wrote an article for HuffPost in 2011 downplaying the risks of the MB — where with hindsight, objectively you were wrong — and luckily the MB is now banned in Egypt To the American’s who don’t have context here. The Muslim Brotherhood is an ideological movement that believes the ends justify the means. The closest analogy would be the communist movement last century. If we replaced “MB” with “Communist”, the evidence above would be more than enough to demand clear answers from anyone running for Senate with this background As far as I’m aware this clip was the first time you officially disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood But you should understand that a) when it takes you weeks to do so b) with the background laid out above and c) without acknowledging the severity of the MB as a dangerous ideology Frankly it just doesn’t instill much trust

Hasan Piker praises Abdul El-Sayed for refusing to condemn the Muslim Brotherhood. I’d prefer to have a Senator who can unequivocally condemn terrorism. Abdul is incapable.
