This is absolutely fascinating and tracks with exactly what I’ve been following in Minnesota. The thing that has been biggest to me are the language swaps. The DSA council will do this suddenly and abruptly. All at once… this explains that. I also have obtained emails in city hall that have council members “blind cc-ing” whole networks of activists on what would seem to be a procedural email to staff and other electeds. I’m sure the particular council member who did it REPEATEDLY likely thought his actions would mean the addition discourse and “heads up” to the networks would be hidden in a data drop. A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him. Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties.
