#Hyperliquid may be on track to become #FTX 2.0. The way it handled the $JELLY incident was immature, unethical, and unprofessional, triggering user losses and casting serious doubts over its integrity. Despite presenting itself as an innovative decentralized exchange with a bold vision, Hyperliquid operates more like an offshore CEX with no KYC/AML, enabling illicit flows and bad actors. The decision to close the $JELLY market and force settlement of positions at a favorable price sets a dangerous precedent. Trust—not capital—is the foundation of any exchange (CEX and DEX alike), and once lost, it’s almost impossible to recover. Moreover, the platform's product design reveals alarming flaws: mixed vaults that expose users to systemic risk, and unrestricted position sizes that open the door to manipulation. Unless these issues are addressed, more altcoins may be weaponized against Hyperliquid—putting it at risk of becoming the next catastrophic failure in crypto.

Funny how a CEO of a centralized exchange dares to lecture anyone on ethics and transparency. Your platform thrives in the shadows: where insider trading, hidden liquidations, and backroom deals are the norm. You speak of trust, yet your users need to trust that you're not misusing their funds, because they can't verify a damn thing. That's the entire CEX model: “Trust us, we promise.” Meanwhile on Hyperliquid, CODE is the policy. Every vault, every trade, every liquidation IS on-chain, in real-time, for anyone to audit. No insider trading. No fake volumes. No mysterious hacks where millions disappear and nobody goes to jail. You call it immature? No: it's disruptive. It's what your kind fears the most: a future where your middleman monopoly becomes irrelevant. So before pointing fingers, clean your own house. Because from where we’re standing, CEXs like yours aren't the future: they’re the problem, and belong to the past. Alright buddy. Hyperliquid.

Hyperliquid has some clear flaws that Gracy pointed out. If the HL community takes it as criticism, Bitget is actually helping unlike other exchanges that are trying to throw Hyperliquid under the bus:

1/ Huge respect for Dragonfly continuing to invest in the bear market. But I'm morally obliged to call out sketchy projects gaining momentum. As a community we must preempt large scale implosions like #FTX or #LUNA that set the industry back years Bitget may be the next FTX 🧵

When Bybit was hacked, Bitget swooped in to help without hesitation. However, Hyperliquid's model clearly has some flaws which Gracy pointed out for the care of the crypto space.

2/ About half a year ago we tried HFT on Bitget and quickly noticed their matching engine is dishonest. I'll give specific examples later in the thread. I later learned from an ex-Bitget team member that they handled retail taker flow by just B-Booking through an internal desk.
