Why We Post That People Should Die
Guns are not going to save us.
They aren't going to save us from taxes. They aren't going to save us from anti-liberty immigrants. They didn’t stop lockdowns. They won’t stop wokeness, or regulations, or spying, or your local school turning kids into trannies.
It's not that they couldn't. It's just that not even the most hardcore will actually use them for that. That would be appalling. It would be abhorrent and disgusting. Calls for violence have no place in a polite society.
Can you imagine the outrage if a school counselor who was socially transitioning children against their parents' will was shot by one of the disgruntled parents? Or if a Democrat who voted to create an income tax was tarred and feathered in public?
All land on Earth has been conquered. There is nowhere to go to start something new. This means we have two options. Work inside the system, or work outside it. There is participation, or there is revolution.
Inside the system means contributing political effort. Voting, running for office, lobbying, contributing to campaigns.
Outside the system means violence. But nobody's going to do it. Nobody’s even allowed to say you should do it. Even if you say it should happen, everyone gets really mad.
Sure, people are happy to celebrate past violence, like Independence Day or the Pine Tree Riot. Even some elected politicians are willing to talk abstractly about “Second Amendment solutions”. But like all respectable people, we believe only violence in the past is acceptable. Any future violence is absolutely wrong. We should celebrate these holidays in theater only, never as a sincere expression of cherished values. We have jobs!
Some libertarians say voting is for suckers. Voting "legitimizes the state." Some even say that voting itself is violence. That becoming a Republican state rep is treasonous and anti-liberty.
Which leaves many libertarians with nothing. They won't act outside the system. They won't act inside it. What's left?
Posting. The dooming, the black pilling, the "my guns," the "it needs to get worse." It's a way to do nothing while feeling like the most hardcore guy in the room. It's crabs in a bucket. It's a lazy, bitter mentality that necessitates that you sit on your hands, wait for the collapse, and cry when your society is burnt to ash by the people who chose power over apathy. It is spiritual cancer.
We talk about violence to make it clear to you it’s not a real solution. Tens of millions of Americans would have to die for it to be a free country again. Even with German efficiency, it would take hundreds of thousands of people to commit this much violence. How could that ever happen if there isn’t a single person willing?
The only solutions forward are marginal. Move somewhere a little better than where you are. Make that place better by getting involved. Vote for whoever is slightly closer to you, no matter how imperfect.
We do this in New Hampshire and it works. And it turns out if you do this consistently, not just politically but culturally and spiritually, you get something much bigger. You get a place where when the media misrepresents your get-out-the-vote campaign as a call to “assassinate Democrats” it’s not a big deal and some elected anarcho-capitalists call you and laugh about it.
So be loud. Do your best to make your town, community, or state repellent to communists. Get in the media anyway you can to influence demographic changes in your community. Participate in local social media and at town meetings. Be a mix of resolute and pragmatic, as each situation calls for.
Your options are voting or violence. And if neither seems like a good option where you are, do them somewhere else.
