IGL records strong performance in FY 2025-26 At its 27th AGM, IGL announced a record sales volume of 9.39 MMSCMD, with ₹17,785 crore gross turnover and ₹1,364 crore PAT. During the year, IGL added 70 new CNG stations, taking the total to 1,024, and connected over 3.7 lakh new domestic PNG customers. IGL has initiated an automated vehicle verification system at 10 CNG stations to further strengthen on-board CNG cylinder safety. Using camera-based vehicle identification and an AI-enabled application, the system verifies hydro-test validity through available PESO records and generates real-time compliance alerts at the station. 🚘 Vehicle identified 🔎 Hydro-test status verified ⚠️ Real-time alert for non-compliance ✅ Safer CNG refuelling CNG is not being dispensed to vehicles without a valid hydro-test certificate.
