Talarico is very obviously just lying about what he supports in order to try and win an election. We have his voting record and things he has said. He’s hoping people don’t understand these things.

He also said the Twin Cities area needs more police officers focused on this issue. “One of the misconceptions is that somehow when you prosecute people, put them in jail, that you’re destituting them to some terrible life. This is how kids get corrected. This is how they change their course by being accountable. This is how the message is sent to the other kids not to do that.”
