The "both sides" argument misses the point. It's not about someone saying some bad thing. It's the coordinated effort on the left to drive particular narratives. Also, you have to consider that left-wing ideology believes political violence is acceptable and often necessary. You’re not hitching your wagon. You’re just voting for the candidate who you believe is the best option. The biggest problem with Christian politics is that we seem to think that casting of vote means we’re now forever committed in every respect to some politician. That’s silly. This has nothing to do with “canceling” anyone. It’s also pathetic how they keep invoking Charlie’s name, pretending to know what he would think or say. What’s really being exposed here is a refusal to engage honestly with the argument itself. Instead of responding to what was actually said, they default to bad faith interpretations and emotional posturing.

Ben never claimed to be the arbiter. Instead he relied on the founding principles of conservatism to be the fences of who's in and who's out. Conservatism is not a movement with open borders. It has defined boundaries and Tucker by his own positions has positioned himself outside the boundaries of conservatism, not Ben.

This is just stupid. I can't believe how hard people are grifting on his death and are willing to try and destroy the organization he built.
