The numbers: psychiatric morbidity rose from 9.8% to 60.7% in adolescents who underwent feminising reassignment, and from 21.6% to 54.5% in masculinising reassignment. Even after adjusting for prior psychiatric history, gender-referred adolescents faced five times the risk of male population controls, and three times the risk of female controls. "Psychiatric needs do not subside after medical gender reassignment," the authors concluded. Referrals after 2010 arrived sicker. 47.9% had already needed psychiatric treatment before their first clinic visit, against 15.3% among controls. The authors' read: for some adolescents, gender distress may be secondary to other mental health challenges. The evidence keeps mounting. The silencing continues anyway. On January 14th, Lance was doing the thing he loved most, he was out for a run in Charlotte NC At 5:47 in the evening, police say 28-year-old Q'Laundra Hood was ran a red light and she hit him, hard. ...and then she drove away. She left him in the road and kept going. Lance Sotelo died right there on the streets of Charlotte. He never even made it to a hospital. He didn't have life insurance, his family had to start a GoFundMe just to bury their son. Hood turned herself in and pleaded guilty to felony hit-and-run and involuntary manslaughter. And on Tuesday, a courtroom packed with Lance's family and friends watched the judge hand down the sentence. 30 days in jail. And probation. Thirty days and $765 restitution. WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!!

Hey Canada, thanks for the assisted suicide brochure. She chose chemotherapy instead. Kristin Logan had stage 4 ovarian cancer, and according to her husband, Donovan James, while they were desperately trying to get her treated in Canada, they were confronted with MAID, Medical Assistance in Dying, Canada’s assisted dying program, while her actual cancer treatment was going nowhere. So they came to the United States, where she received chemotherapy and HIPEC surgery. Today she’s living in Texas, in remission, lifting weights and hiking mountains. Imagine that. A woman with stage 4 cancer wanted to LIVE, and instead of helping her die, American doctors helped her fight to stay alive. Crazy concept, I know. Canada, you can keep the assisted suicide brochure. She’ll keep climbing mountains, because I think she made her choice pretty clear. 🇺🇸

I find the healthcare in the US unquestionably superior. Health insurance is the same since I don't pay income tax in Florida, I pay it on insurance. There is immediate, private healthcare if you need it. Medically assisted suicide is not an option they offer.
