your girlfriend sits closer to the other guy at the blackjack table. another “date night” gone bad. the guy is younger but bets more which for some reason annoys you. you ask if she wants to get wings. she doesn’t answer. he’s dealt another blackjack. she nicknames him hard 11.

example of another form of leverage in crypto - connections/media leverage if you have a trusted network of ppl around you it opens doors to future opportunity and could well be the difference between an idea of yours being executed on or just staying an idea i know another person who was only able to raise because of their ability to get someone on the phone as an intro
last cycle we had discord mods controlling millions

Met Paul Mescal. He seemed ok. Cool clothes. Quite a bit shorter than me, reckon he’d be toast on day 1 of Gladiator school tbh. Maybe 5/2 to survive to day 2? Reach has to be massive in the ‘sport’ right? I reckon arm length is critical. The result will turn on first cut.

Menswear is a tangential interest of mine, so take this with a pinch of salt, but I think Torsten is the best of the best. My rationale is that he’s so consistent and his attention to detail is second to none. There’s nothing I enjoy more in life than expertise and enthusiasm.
Fall attire test. Brown loden jacket, bottle green cashmere jumper, bespoke dark blue denim trousers, and bespoke Vienna shoes.

It’s probably nothing. eBay auctions falling short of comps, sellers complaining about bad weeks. Fanatics dumps new, identical product, flooding the market with nonexistent QC. You ask what your PSA 10 is worth while grading companies battle a class action. Probably nothing.

Thoughts of the day: 1) Super Intelligence is such a low energy Jeb phrase; 2) if your friend lets you down when it counts, they’ll do it again; 3) once the son of a rich father gets lazy, it’s over - they *never* come back and are a leech loser forever; 4) Midleton 2019 🔥

How desperate has the economy made you? Desperate enough to check old wallets? Desperate enough to launch a memecoin? Desperate enough to figure out how to involve yourself in the reselling of children’s trading cards?

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

$ETH Now stuck between its Weekly 200MA/EMA and $2.8K horizontal level. This horizontal area has played a critical role in ETH's price action for 2-3 years now. Acting as a strong support & resistance many times. So keep an eye on the weekly closes around this region.

This post randomly reminded me of the ‘Suspects - Van Gogh Tricksters & Co’ exhibition of disturbing art that I went to in Arles. This Mike Kelley piece stuck me for ages afterwards. There’s something so disturbing and melancholic about his picture amongst the damaged toys.
JUST IN: Anthropic co-founder Daniela Amodei & her husband reportedly used a “personal advisory council” of stuffed animals with distinct personalities to work through workplace conflicts.

Apparently Kelley was dealing with an unhappy childhood, but I only read the caption beside the piece and that’s the extent of my knowledge. He looks so unhappy in his work. I thought about it for weeks afterwards- I think that’s a sign of an interesting & provocative piece.

Also just noticed there’s only two women in the room and one of them is the White House chief of staff, as opposed to an exec. Not making any particular point - just surprised it’s almost all men and heavily dominated by immigrants or children of immigrants. Maybe random tbf.
This is quite striking to me. It’s not a very large group either.

At least a dozen industry attendees are immigrants or children of immigrants. Examples: Elon Musk and David Sacks (South Africa), Jensen Huang and Lisa Su (Taiwan), Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, Nikesh Arora and Sanjay Mehrotra (India), Hock Tan (Malaysia), Chamath Palihapitiya (Sri Lanka). Dario Amodei’s father immigrated from Italy; Jeff Bezos’ adoptive father from Cuba.

For my Irish followers, this is a good time to sell a home and a bad time to buy. I’ve been saying this since Q4 2025 and all data since then backs it up. Don’t listen to uninformed people on Twitter. Huge supply pipeline coming over the next 4 yrs, reforms & economic risks.

If selling, tart the house up first and quickly. Paint it, have it ready to move in. It’s hard to shift a unit if it’s not in decent nick. If it’s not selling, list lower - but it’s better to list low initially and don’t reach. Draw them in, make it easy for purchasers to bid.
