The gender identity movement — I call its supporters the genderati — is sexist and homophobic. But it has managed to confuse a large section of the public by the words it uses. It advocates being “inclusive”. Like this: “Inclusive” is good! 😄 Non-“inclusive” is bad 😡 Being “inclusive” means accepting that some men — oh sorry, I mean “trans women” — are lesbians. If you don’t accept that, you are “transphobic” and bad 😡😡 Another one is “hate”. Love is good 😍 Love everyone! “Hate” is bad 😡 Love means accepting that everyone is who/what he says he is. “Hate” is calling a man a man when he has expressly told you he is a woman.😡 That is “misgendering” - which is hateful and bad 😡😡 If you are an “ally” you understand that everyone knows who they are and what gender they are and you know they should access the spaces they want according to their “gender identity”. 😄 That is “kind” and “good” 😄😄 If you say they can’t access those spaces because of the law or because of some other stupid reason you are “transphobic”. Transphobic is bad 😡😡 According to the genderati, Europe is filling up alarmingly with people who say there are only two sexes and that sex is often important. That is not “inclusive”. It is bad. It is “transphobic”. It is ANTI GENDER. ANTI GENDER is hateful.😡 And really really really bad.😡😡😡

My very special friend Marta is almost at her goal to get her documentary completed. Marta and I didn’t meet in prison, I think we barely missed each other, but prison did bring us together. She saw my Facebook posts about the crisis in women’s prisons and she messaged me to ask why it seemed like I was the only person up in arms about this and we have been friends ever since. Every time I Iearn another part of her story I am honored all over again to be her friend. She has survived more than most, accomplished more than most and is still one of the most humble people I’ve ever known. She’s got more degrees than I can count, she is a veteran, she’s a freaking jet propulsion engineer and she has beat all the odds. Political dodge of the day: Sen. Blumenthal claimed he skipped a hearing on protecting women’s sports because of an Iran briefing. Asked in the hallway what he thinks about men in women’s sports, he walked off: “I’m not going to talk about it… in the hallways here.” When do politicians on the Hill not grab the mic if they have a point they want to make? A senator who won’t answer a fairness question in the corridor has already answered it. The Democratic orthodoxy on biological males in women’s sports remains bewildering.
