$TSLA beat earnings, so why is it down after hours? It doesn't make any sense.

Probably because we all sold covered calls and tossed and then shorted. … and they are probably banking on making some bank on the new options trading hours for Tesla that started this week. So right before 7:30 am may be the best time to buy more.

I don’t know why every car on the market doesn’t have FSD. I had a bad scare today and was thankful I had it. A girl about 10 years old decided to jump off the sidewalk onto the road riding on her electric scooter. I’m guessing she didn’t see me but I was going at 30 mph and my Tesla dead stopped to not hit her in the knick of time. Had I not had it on I don’t know if I could have reacted fast enough.

Ironically at age 10, electric scooter should be …. “Supervised”. There needs to be a license required to ride those where they basically show you all the accident videos and photos from kids that got hit riding them - like traffic school but for scooters and kids.

Tesla's @aelluswamy says FSD Unsupervised could start rolling out to customer cars in select areas the U.S. in Q2 2027. Those customers could then add their cars to the robotaxi network.

I have been psychologically short $NFLX for years and believe this year has vindicated that psychological short. Unfortunately I was way too much of a chicken to actually short/buy puts 😂 In all seriousness, my bear case has always been that they cannot keep up content spend to justify their growth without massive hits. The massive hits have faded away which has significantly hurt the type of subscriber/adgrowth needed for the stock to expand from its premium multiple. YouTube’s algorithm was another bear case. How does Netflix compete with a creator economy that is growing rapidly without spending even more money? The move to buy Warner Bros, live sports, podcasting…all of it was to hide that they just don’t have the massive hits needed to keep growing. HOWEVER…at some point, the company becomes too cheap. Valuation is 5 year low and they are buying back a ton of stock. I genuinely don’t see how they get back to massive growth again without a MAJOR hit like Squid Games…all the ads/NFL/videogames/buybacks in the world won’t get the street excited without hits. But I wonder if the margin of safety has finally gotten to the point where their most is being meaningfully discounted (I do think they have a large moat with huge barriers to entry) and if the stock price is officially reflecting that. Are you buying the dip? $NFLX -5%

What’s the first things to go when economy is tight, inflation is high and mortgage rates are high? I bet people moving into homes are trading off this for high mortgage rates right now while budget folks are taking a break

The Rename Game is an attorney money pit playbook design. It is a retaliation from excessive lawsuits. You are correct. Makes no sense but keeps the dogs (at blue state attorneys) chaising their tails.

Perhaps GitHub is just serving a cluster file system that is just a local git repo on those servers? Ie they just commit local.

We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit. It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion. In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding. In the post below, we share more details about our new fund. anthropic.com/news/public-be…
