I’ll continue to say it, you guys are not ready for every single pool to have hooks on top of them. Genuinely the greatest innovation for liquidity Pools since the bonding curve. Please position for this future

I've unfortunately been distracted by some major real life changes and haven't been as locked in as I'd like but $HOOKR was one thing I was watching and looking to build a position in. Finally got in on that 60% pullback. We see this time and time again, whenever a new primitive is added, crypto winds up building cool new shit with it. I don't yet know what those will be and I'm excited to buy them when they show up but at least now I can have broad exposure to it through hookr. The thesis is simple: 1) Uni v4 hooks are a fundamental new primative 2) People *will* be building things with it that we can't even imagine today 3) Many of those will be $100M+ runners 4) Hookr will benefit by providing the infrastructure for them

Our integration with @whatthehookv4 is already cooking. At launch we initialized a small ETH/HOOKR pool w. our custom hook. In just a few days this pool retained ~2.5 ETH that would've otherwise been lost to external MEV bots 👀 In total, there were 961 arbs executed out of 3230 trades, which only shows how prominent arbitrage is and why retention is important. To make things even better, we are now working on a new mechanic for our pool with the @whatthehookv4 team that will focus on trader incentives and bring back the good old DeFi days. You'll want to stay tuned...
Our first hook builder integration is here and we're really excited about this one as it helps all pools initialized on Hookr🪝 Introducing Arbitrage recapture, powered by @whatthehookv4 Launch a token or create an ETH-paired pool on Hookr, choose your Hook rules and enable Arbitrage recapture. 🧱 Works with all five Hookr rules: anti-snipe guard, surge fee, auto burn, LP rewards and nth-buy pot. 🔁 WTH checks for eligible price gaps against supported venues before and after swaps. When a correction executes, the recaptured proceeds are shared with pool participants. For new tokens, recapture can be selected at launch. Corrections start once the token trades on another venue registered with @whatthehookv4 and an eligible arbitrage opportunity exists. Recaptured proceeds splits 40% creator, 20% trader, 20% LPs, 10% WTH and 10% HOOKR. Each integration adds another capability to the Hookr stack. This is just the start of our collaboration with @whatthehookv4. More soon...

80% goes straight back to the LPs, pool creators and traders making swaps, 20% to the Hookr and WTH protocols.

Allow me to clear the air on the $hookr questions surrounding this. nobody's asking Pons to publish their core hooks on Hookr. that's their product. they should never do that. the direction runs the other way. Hookr is where specialist giga brain devs list hooks and earn royalties when people arm them. @whatthehookv4's arb recapture is a great example, they earn every time someone uses it. And hookr can greatly help to increase usage for these hooks. Pons writing their own launch mechanics doesn't conflict with that at all. Apple wrote iOS. they still have an App Store. nobody expected Apple to write every app. and @MEADGod said this himself: "there is a world where in V3 Hookr hooks can be utilized in launches if we decide to whitelist them." so why would they whitelist? because creators will ask for it. if Pons doesn't offer the blocks a launcher wants and another pad does, that launcher goes to the other pad. the pull comes from the creators, not from Hookr. core hook is theirs. the twentieth specialist block isn't, and there's no reason on earth for them to write it. none of this requires Pons to do anything. @Hookrfun's job isn't convincing launchpads. it's making sure the best specialist blocks live in one place, bonded and verifiable, so a creator can arm one without hiring a Solidity team. launchpads integrate a catalog when their own users start asking for what's in it. never before, and never because someone argued them into it. fill the shelf. the rest takes care of itself.
We have our own ideas of hook and how we utilize them. There is no reason to pass core infrastructure on to third party fwiw. There is a world though where in V3 Hookr hooks can be utilized in launches if we decide to whitelist them.

i still see airdrops as one of the strongest catalysts for bringing activity back onchain trading terminals captured a huge amount of volume last cycle, and many still haven’t rewarded their users when competition for traders gets tighter, rewarding early users becomes a powerful way to build loyalty and keep liquidity around we’ve seen how much activity a well-timed airdrop can unlock before, and i expect that playbook to show up again

a certain company that we'll call Voldemort has been rumored to be accumulating the solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx token in order to aggressively suppress price while they run coordinated FUD campaigns. but @LaunchOnSF has an irrefutable advantage that Voldemort does not: tokenomics. solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx has some of the most appealing tokenomics of any project in the history of crypto. 1. there's no mint authority to dilute you back. 2. there's no VC's to dump on you 3. 60% of fees from the launchpad get harvested, a large share is spent buying solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx on the open market, and those tokens are permanently removed from existence. #3 is why they have such a steep advantage against the incumbent-who-shall-not-be-named. ** to be clear, we do not know for a fact that Voldemort is using this tactic, but it's a commonly cited rumor. this is a thought piece to help explain why, even if it IS in fact happening, that it's more bullish for STONK than it is bearish.** lets continue every time a party buys and sells solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx with malicious intent, the great irony is they are only reducing the total supply of STONK, which on a long enough time horizon will lead to their ultimate success. Current state of things: - original supply: 1,000,000,000 - already burned: ~180m (~18%) in roughly two months since launch - still circulating: ~820m - protocol fees (defillama stonkfun): ~$8.4m / 7d at today's price (~$0.35), that 7d buyback pace retires roughly ~2.3m solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx per day at today's 7d pace you're on track for ~34% of the original 1b gone by dec 31. double that pace and you land near ~50%. how do you beat voldemort when they have enough money to suppress your price? suppression is reversible. burns are not. voldemort can lease price with inventory and fud. they cannot unburn tokens. every day the mint shrinks, the float they have to lean on gets thinner. their cost of keeping a lid on rises, and Voldemort is the one pouring gas on the fire one obvious caveat is that whenever solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx price goes up, that means the effect of the buybacks is weaker, which is part of why Voldemort's buybacks are so weak compared to STONK's rapid deflation. this is the game theory @LaunchOnSF opted into and voldemort didn't design for. fair launch, no VC's, designed to go up with their holders. voldemort can win attention cycles through purchasable influence, but solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx is built to win the float war. if they keep suppressing while the burn accelerates, they're not "winning the chart." instead, they're volunteering to underwrite a thinner future supply for everyone still holding when the campaigns go quiet, assuming you've accumulated when you had the chance. see you at a billy+
my god solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx has officially burned more % of their token supply in 7 weeks of existing (16.9%), than solana:pumpCmXqMfrsAkQ5r49WcJnRayYRqmXz6ae8H7H9Dfn has in 140 weeks of existing (16.76%). and it has no VCs that will unlock and dump on you. BILLIONS
