PC port for t8 is very poorly optimized overall

i have the same issue too. my screen will flash off and on when i alt+tab causing a huge lag spike

its not tekken its windows. And its fixable i can alt tab switch program in game and nothing happens. Do you have any kind of overlay, game bar, lot of bloats, fso, not determinism on scheduling etc etc

Still better than Tekken 7 when we couldn't even alt-tab

for me the frames don't drop, but it causes ghost inputs and they hold. for example if i tab put then back in, my character sometimes holds db, or stays on neutral but if i press something 1 or 2, they do a throw. its really a mess.

I believe that tabbing out and back in can also cause the game to crash shortly after. I have tabbed out to change song and then opened the game window recently and after a few seconds my matches have cancelled. Resulting in a loss.

Only now did you realize this? PC "cheaters" always use the Alt+F4 feature to lower the connection quality and make you miss combos; it's natural for PC players.

Usually when I play I go to task manager and end all the tasks I never use and just have Tekken running on its own with nothing else running in the background
