In the first series of Clarkson's Farm, a young woman told Jeremy Clarkson his sheep would never make money, and the wool cheque proved her right before the year was out. Ellen Helliwell was the shepherd he hired when it became clear he could not manage 78 ewes himself. She lambed them through the night, treated their feet, and told him the arithmetic at the start. Then came shearing. A gang arrives, charges by the head, and leaves a pile of fleeces. Clarkson sent the wool off and learned what every sheep farmer in Britain already knew. The fleece was worth less than the cost of taking it off the animal. For 800 years that fleece was the wealth of England. It paid for the cathedrals and the wars. A sheep was kept for five or six years for her wool, and the mutton at the end was a bonus that fed the country. Now the wool is a disposal problem, so the only thing a sheep can earn from is a lamb sold at five months. One income where there used to be three. Clarkson's flock lost money, and he said so on television. The reason the fleece is worthless is in your wardrobe. The jumper is acrylic, the fleece jacket is polyester, the carpet is nylon, and all of them are made from oil. Ellen could do everything a shepherd has had to do since the Bronze Age, and do it at three in the morning. The thing she could not do was compete with a plastics factory. Check the label in your collar before you ask why British lamb costs what it costs.

Oh please, if they were genuinely sorry they wouldn't be giving press releases saying that they might apologise at some point. If they were truly sorry, they would have apologised a long time ago and we wouldn't hear about it. This is them trying to get credit for an imaginary apology that I am sure Catherine and Prince William do not want or need. This is Meghan and Harry finding another way to bring The Prince and Princess of Wales into their daily attention seeking shenanigans and a passive aggressive way to make Prince William, again, look like the bad guy.
DAMAGE CONTROL 🫣😵‍💫 Anyone checked in on the Sussex squad today? their Kween always turns on them in the end. Maybe she thought better of her Rabid Filty Dogs going after priests. Not a good look for her. These idiots are AS thick as fuck 😬

At the age of 18, Martina Navratilova defected from communist Czechoslovakia while she was playing in the 1975 US Open to be able to play as a free woman. She sacrificed her citizenship and seeing her homeland and her family for many years. Then in 1981, Martina became one of the first openly gay professional athletes. She sacrificed millions in endorsements, which she knew she would when she came out. 59 grand slam titles that included 9 Wimbledon titles. Few people in this world have ice running through their veins the way Martina does. And now Martina is defending Sophie Cunningham against the New York Times / WNBA media. They are in the wrong for this ridiculous hit piece against Sophie today (and the inevitable hit pieces coming to try to push Sophie out of the WNBA).
Buckner seems to forget the W in @WNBA stand for women. There was nothing wrong with what Sophie said originally. It’s the response from WNBA that made it blow up. The policy is the problem, not Sophie Cunningham

Meghan The Great! (According to Meghan) Meghan: “When I was about eight years old I started my own business making handmade scrunchies…” Me: You made scrunchies at eight and sold them for a dollar. Let’s not retrofit it into the origin story of a business mogul. Meghan: “I sold Girl Scout cookies…” Me: So did millions of Girl Scouts. We don’t all put it on our entrepreneurial résumés. Meghan: “…had lemonade stands…” Me: Somewhere, millions of former eight-year-old lemonade CEOs are updating their LinkedIn profiles.😂 Meghan: “…worked in a frozen yogurt shop…” Me: You had a teenage job. No evidence that Silicon Valley missed its chance. Meghan: “…and had countless other jobs.” Me: “Countless” hmmm. Now the childhood résumé is beginning to sound suspiciously like a press release. Meghan: “My entrepreneurial spirit was always there.” Me: and that spirit has left the building. Meghan: “Behind every successful woman is herself…” Me: Nothing says humility quite like quoting yourself about how your success is attributable to… yourself.🤦🏼‍♀️ Meghan: “…but there’s more: a community of love…” Me: “A community of love” is an interesting description for an online ecosystem in which your loudest defenders routinely attack anyone who criticizes you. Meghan: “…a squad of support…” Me: “A squad of support.” Interesting choice of words. Given the reputation of your self-described “Sussex Squad” online trolls. Meghan: “…an amazing team.” Me: An “amazing team” that has required remarkably frequent introductions. The Sussex operation has had a well-publicized amount of senior staff turnover over the years, so forgive me for wondering who exactly constitutes “the team” today. Meghan: “As I pinch myself looking at how this brand has grown…” Me: Grown into what, exactly? Much of As ever consists of branded consumer products made with outside production and commercial partners. Slapping your label and presenting this as though you personally built a manufacturing empire from the kitchen table, is ballsy and quite embarrassing. Meghan: “A huge thanks to my team at As ever. So proud of what we are creating together. Thanks for helping bring this vision to life.” Me: And once again: the team. Who are they? What are they creating? Who develops it? Who manufactures it? Who distributes it? This entire post spends more time constructing Meghan Markle, the Entrepreneur, than actually explaining the business behind the brand.

Good morning everyone. Thinking of all those families who today are missing their loved ones for 3 years. Their young lives were taken in the most senseless and brutal ways. We respect, and will remember them always. Rest in peace...🙏🕯🕊

An apology? For ONE of her remarks on Oprah? And only to the RF? You have to be frigging kidding me! So ""Concerns and conversations" from a royal family member about how dark their son Archies skin would be before he was born" was just a quote "Low Blow"? I would have thought that someone who was a specialist in low, medium and high blows would know it was a little more than that! 1. It was H who heard the remark and he relayed it to her 2. The remark was made before they were even married 3. In Scobie's book it was alleged that Charles and Catherine made the remarks (Dankje wel Nederland!) 4. In a later interview H said that M had not called the RF racist, it was the media. 5. William had to make a comment that they were very much not a racist family 6. The Palace had to issue the "recollections my vary" statement 7. Prince Philip was hospitalised when the interview was aired 8. Apparently the Sussexes said that the interview would not air if Prince Philip had died. I do not consider that any kind of mealy-mouthed apology for that one remark and all its repercussions is going to make everyone or anyone forgive and forget. For a start, the interview was packed with falsehoods, as was their Netflix series. Are they going to apologise for them too? One last point, I do not think that either of that traitorous couple realise the relationship that the majority of we Brits have with the RF. They are us and we are they. They are in our DNA and are all around us every day. Insult them and you insult our country and you insult us. Once you have apologised to the RF, you can start by doing the same to us.... but don't expect any open arms or handshakes.... and it might take a long long time....

I can promise you insurance companies are taking notice. Rates will skyrocket. Doctors will be wary of being sued. Hospitals will want to avoid the headache. And people will see the opportunity for big payouts. YAY!!!!!!!! I hope it costs the monsters all dearly.
A New York jury just awarded $2 MILLION to a young woman who underwent a double mastectomy at 16 and later detransitioned. The jury found her psychologist and surgeon liable for malpractice. Her case alleged that serious mental-health issues, including depression, body dysmorphia, anorexia and autism-spectrum traits, were not adequately addressed before an irreversible procedure was performed on a minor. Now watch what happens when someone like her speaks publicly. For years we were told regret was exceedingly rare. We were told these procedures were necessary care. We were told questioning the process itself was dangerous. But when a detransitioner stands up and says, “This happened to me,” suddenly she becomes the problem. That is the epistemic tell. When evidence supports the narrative, it is celebrated. When evidence contradicts the narrative, the person carrying the evidence gets attacked. A jury heard the testimony. A jury examined the evidence. A jury found malpractice. And a jury put the damages at $2 million. You don’t protect vulnerable young people by demanding silence from the ones who came back and said, “I wish someone had slowed this down.” You protect them by listening. #AStoneGroove #SilentMajoritySpeaks

I used to love London. I really did. Not long ago, it was the best city in the world. Busy, rich, lively, safe. Now? Yes, there are nicer areas in the central part. But large swathes of our capital city resemble a third world shithole. That's just the honest truth, and we all know it. It did not used to be like this. It just didn't. I get attacked and insulted whenever I talk about this, but it's true. Walk around central London, what do you see? Foreign migrants spitting, drinking and defecating in the street. Groups of foreign men, hanging around in gangs, harassing women, shouting in foreign languages, smoking weed and whatever else. Our own domestic wronguns, free to steal phones and plaster the city with graffiti. Filth, everywhere. The city is just dirty. Vape shops, 'candy' stores, Turkish barbers, foreign convenience stores. Stabbings, stabbings and more stabbings. Parallel communities with entire streets unable to speak English, living under their own laws, treating women like dirt. You could be dropped on hundreds of streets in London and you would think you're in Pakistan. There seems to be some confusion about who our capital city belongs to... THE BRITISH PEOPLE. It is our city, and we need to take it back. If you agree with what I'm saying, then vote for it. Vote Restore Britain.

My prediction is this.. Dave has been a useful idiot. A Gay, Jewish useful idiot. He will lose the Holborn election and be thrown out as leader to resume his talents growing women’s boobs. Mothin Ali will take control. The Greens will become the Islamic Party of Great Britain 🇬🇧 - they will gradually throw out every non Muslim and every LBGTQ useful idiot who has supported them thus far. This is full blown sectarianism. It is BEYOND dangerous and we have allowed it to happen !!

SORRY IF THIS OFFENDS RESTAURANT OWNERS, BUT THIS HAS GOT TO STOP. I sat down at a table last night, and there were no physical menus. Just a laminated QR code taped to the wood. I had to pull out my phone, scan the code, navigate a laggy menu website, put in my own order, and type in my credit card details. A runner brought the food to the table 20 minutes later. Then the digital checkout screen defaulted to a 22% tip prompt. FOR WHAT? You eliminated the host, eliminated the server taking orders, forced me to use my own mobile device and cellular data, and then asked for a 22% tip for order entry I completed myself? THAT IS NOT A HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE. THAT IS AN UNPAID CUSTOMER WORKFLOW WITH A FORCED TIP PROMPT ATTACHED.

We are quietly isolating an entire generation of older people from society, and nobody seems to give a damn. I took my 84-year-old grandfather to his local bank branch on Friday. The exact same brick-and-mortar branch where he opened his first account in 1978. We pull up to the front doors. They’re locked. Inside is an empty lobby with a small sign: “Cashless Service Hub.” A young guy in a polo shirt opens the door and tells us: “We don't handle teller deposits or paper checks here anymore. You just need to download the mobile portal and scan your routing number.” My grandfather pulls out an old flip phone with a cracked screen and a paper pension check from his coat pocket. His hands were visibly shaking. The employee just shrugs. “You can do it on an iPad, or have a family member manage the app for you.” This man worked forty-two years in a manufacturing plant. Paid his taxes. Fought for this country. And now he is made to feel completely useless and stripped of his dignity because he doesn't own an iOS device. Tech isn't making life easier if it completely locks out the people who built the world we’re living in. Are your elderly parents or grandparents running into this wall too?
