Here’s the thing: I’m not mad at Texas Tech for playing the game. The game is the game and Texas fans getting mad about it lack self-awareness. Cody Campbell putting those awkward Save College Football commercials on my TV while playing the game is kinda lame though.

That is the funniest part about it. He’s dropping huge sums of money on men’s sports while simultaneously crying about saving women’s sports.

And he is supporting women’s sports as well.

Newsflash: Dumping ridiculous sums of money into one school’s athletic programs, men or women, isn’t saving college sports. It damn sure isn’t saving them for the ladies. I’m not even mad about it. That’s the game now. Just stop acting like it is altruistic.
