Right, let's knock this on the head now. If you're calling for the security services to release details about the identities of the suspects of an ongoing terror investigation less than 24 hours after the alleged attack, you're a moron. And you have no business even pretending to be a candidate for high public office.

Today has been a dark day for the wee place I love and call home. I am 56 years old, have two beautiful daughters and a Carlsberg wife. I live outside Belfast about 20 miles, married a country girl who didn’t want to live in Belfast. I have a nice house in a nice estate with

A perfect example of why punctuation matters. This reads like China is telling Iran and Cuba to back off.
Want to see how Xi responds to trump after seeing up close how demented and physically incapacitated he is in person?? China just said BACK THE FUCK OFF, Iran *AND* CUBA.

This is exactly why these conversations have become so toxic. Take several complex and genuinely important issues: women’s safety, prisons, support for rape survivors and healthcare for vulnerable young people, remove almost every ounce of nuance, then describe anyone who reaches a different conclusion as campaigning for: “male sex offenders in women’s prisons” “shutting down women’s rape crisis centres” and “Big Pharma chemically castrating minors”. But that isn’t an honest description of what most people advocating for trans equality are asking for. I don’t want women to be unsafe. I don’t want sexual offenders placed anywhere they present an unacceptable risk. I don’t want rape survivors deprived of services where they feel safe. And I certainly don’t want children receiving inappropriate medical treatment. I’m also the mother of a trans daughter. Those positions coexist perfectly comfortably. There are legitimate and difficult questions about safeguarding, single-sex provision and gender medicine. We SHOULD debate them. But reducing every person who supports trans people to someone prepared to sacrifice women and children isn’t debate. It’s rhetoric designed to make compassion itself look dangerous. Women deserve dignity and safety. So do trans people. We should be intelligent enough to discuss how we protect both without constantly portraying one group as the enemy of the other. @andyburnham @YvetteCooperMP @IndiaWilloughby @TransLucent_Org
I find it fascinating that supposed left-wingers are campaigning to put male sex offenders in women’s prisons, trying to shut down women-only rape crisis centres and cheering on Big Pharma’s lucrative move into chemical castration of minors, but here we are.

I'm not 100% convinced of Lucy Letby's innocence, but I am 100% convinced that there wasn't the evidence to convict or even charge her. A lot of arse-covering going on plus a totally inept defence. #LucyLetbyScapegoat. @CliveWismayer

Piers Morgan told ITV’s Chris Ship that Earl Spencer’s book should not be allowed to remain on sale because of one acknowledged inaccuracy involving him. Would you look at this thin-skinned hypocrite throwing a fucking tantrum because somebody finally gave him a taste of the shit he has spent his career dishing out? Leveson called Morgan’s attempt to distance himself from his own comments about phone hacking “utterly unpersuasive.” A High Court judge later found there could be “no doubt” Morgan knew about phone hacking at the Daily Mirror. He was also fired after publishing and defending photographs that were later exposed as fabricated. Earl Spencer acknowledged his mistake and apologized. Morgan has every right to demand a correction. But calling for the entire book to be removed is the tantrum of a man who can dish it out by the truckload but cannot handle it when the scrutiny lands on him. If Morgan’s standard is that publishing one false claim should get you removed from public view, perhaps his own ass should have been pulled off the air years ago. The patron saint of journalistic truth? Piers, shut the fuck up.@piersmorgan @PiersUncensored

Yeah, because billionaires just hate the idea of becoming trillionaires.
Funny how people seem to think crypto billionaires would spend £36m “trying to buy influence” over crypto regulation. Guys -they’ve already made more money than they know what to do with. They don’t need anything from anyone

How I love to see the Right & the Far Right banging heads. Hitchens is spot on about Rupert Lowe.
This tweet is a shameful lie. I would rather eat a raw sea urchin in warm pondweed sauce than so much as meet Rupert Lowe (who reminds me of a dim man in a pub I once met, not of WSC) , and I would never under any circumstances endorse his frightful, nasty faction. Hope that is clear.
