The bizarre part of this C4 report is its focus on who is funding Sandie Peggie’s legal case. A nurse was suspended, took NHS Fife to tribunal and won a harassment claim arising from these events, and is now taking action against her own union. The bigger scandal is that women are having to spend years in tribunals defending rights they already have, while C4 seems more interested in who is paying the legal bills. The funding isn’t the story. What happened to Peggie is.
