Last night we were on the ground in Primrose, Germiston, cleaning our streets and reclaiming our communities. What has become abundantly clear is that Ekurhuleni faces a serious and growing crisis of hijacked properties.

Today, conducting door-to-door efforts on our campaign trail led us to an unfortunate situation where I had to pause and assume the role of a concerned mother. We had to do the right thing and alert DSD to ensure that 9 children had a fair shot at a better future. Some days are just so heavy and today was one of those days.
