Oh, so when members of other faiths turn to Christianity it's the so-called right choice. But when Christians turn to other religions it's "they are confused." This is a fallacy known as special pleading. Basically, you're inventing your own special rules as you go along without having any real justification in doing so.
I live by a simple logical principal (Hitchen's Razor) which is that which is asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. I can't prove or disprove god. Just as I can't for ghosts, aliens, demons, or the thousands of proclaimed gods out there. Again, "I can't explain X, therefore it must by Y" is unsatisfactory in meeting logical conditions.
"There's proof all around you" is a non-sequitor. What am I looking at exactly? How terribly eyes are designed (
evolutionnews.org/2023/05/is…), that most animals and plants can synthesize their own vitamin C but humans cannot, crowded teeth and poor sinus drainage due to our flat faces compared to other primates, ectopic pregnancy, and that's barely scratching the surface. If you're overly simplistic, you'll see a "watchmaker." Dive deeper, and the designs are barely suboptimal which does not bode well for a deity existing. Your particular brand of religion is nothing extraordinarily unique, and you're playing a lottery game mostly based time period, upbringing, and location.
