We have a lot NGO’s in Serbia who spending so much American tax payers money and they don’t represent true American or Serbian values. They are like “working” on connection between 2 nations but they are just spending money and they do self promotion. They were all anti Trump and they were (are still) ex Ambasador Hils (Democratic party) puppets. Please stop sending any money to that Organizations.I will let you here only one name of organization that is @PupinInitiative and their director @vukvelebit but i have a long list plus most working solo and taking money from US. Ognjen is a blessing for all of us Serbian-Americans. A brilliant young journalist with a stack of smart and important questions always ready to ask, a direct perspective on what’s happening on the ground, and, most importantly, intelligent and precise reporting. Beyond his reporting, his analytical skills and understanding of both countries help further strengthen the relationship that Serbs and Americans continue to foster. I’m sorry to mention this here, but I have to. Some other Serbian journalists, especially a few ladies out there, should look up to this young man when it comes to reporting. They should also ask themselves whose interests they have in mind when asking certain questions and reporting on certain issues in a particular manner. Again: this is objectively a bigger scandal than Watergate. The main difference is that the Democrat establishment & media happily look the other way when the DOJ is used to spy upon Donald Trump’s campaign chief, with no regard for the dangerous precedent set.

Many people in the US and around the world rightly question the value of multilateral organizations that are unable or unwilling to stand up for the core principles that they were established to vindicate. I’m pleased to report that today the Organization of American States proved its value by adopting a consensus resolution calling on Nicaragua’s brazenly repressive Ortega-Murillo co-dictatorship to restore civil liberties, and establishing a task force to follow up with further coordinated actions. I was proud to represent the US at today’s meeting to express our appreciation for our regional partners’ willingness to condemn Nicaragua’s co-dictatorship, which seeks to perpetuate a family dynasty. The entire Western Hemisphere sent a resounding message: the only legitimate government in Nicaragua is one chosen in free and fair elections by the Nicaraguan people.

Team Alfonso was back on the road today, kicking the week off up in Ashland! I stopped by Bretting Manufacturing, a fifth generation Wisconsin-family owned company. I got to walk the floor and talk with the owners and the hardworking folks who keep it running. Then it was over to McCoy Construction & Forestry to see the equipment that keeps our logging, construction, and road crews moving across the Northwoods. Both stops were part of my Dirt, Sweat & Trades Tour, focused on bringing manufacturing back to the 7th, getting the next generation trained for these jobs, and making sure business and labor work together for Wisconsin!
