i think i can finally write about this. aitax.fun was my first paid client build as a developer. i met the project as a rough idea. no finished architecture. no complete game. just the direction of what the founder wanted to build. my job was to turn it into something that actually worked end to end. the product became a PVP Bitcoin UP/DOWN game on Robinhood Chain. so I built the frontend, smart contracts, the chainlink data streams integration, round automation, settlement, claims, refunds, Burn Accumulator, admin dashboard, health monitoring, indexing, wallet flows, production deployment, all connected together, and working end to end. but getting there was not smooth. one of the hardest moments came after we went live and rounds kept refunding instead of settling. at first, it looked like an oracle or RPC availability problem. it wasn't. i kept digging. the oracle's priceAt(boundary) function was correctly reverting with ReportUnavailable() when the required historical BTC boundary had not been stored yet. that revert was supposed to tell our coordinator: "fetch the authenticated chainlink historical report, submit it, then continue settlement." but our custom RPC transport was swallowing the EVM revert data. instead of seeing the exact ReportUnavailable() signal, the coordinator saw a generic RpcRequestError. so it treated the situation like an RPC failure. the chainlink report retrieval path never ran. and the round eventually reached its refund deadline. we watched multiple rounds refund. that part hurt. this was mainnet. people were using something I built. every failed settlement felt very different from a failing local test. i was tired, at some point, i was genuinely scared that I had built something that wasn't going to work reliably. but I kept tracing it: - revert bytes - RPC responses - oracle boundaries - coordinator state - retry timing - transaction receipts Until the actual failure became obvious: i fixed the transport to preserve EVM revert data. i matched the exact oracle failure condition instead of treating every failure the same. i changed failed settlement retries from the old long delay to a much faster recovery path. i added stage-aware error reporting. i hardened transaction persistence and recovery. then the lifecycle started doing what it was designed to do: entry → lock → oracle → settlement → claim → burn. that experience changed how I think about building production systems. a successful build is not when the UI looks finished, it is not when the contract compiles, it is not even when everything passes locally, it is when the full system survives reality. - networks fail, - providers time out, - transactions get weird, - external services behave differently from mocks, the important part is whether you can understand the system deeply enough to find the real failure instead of patching the symptom. i also built the operational side so the owner doesn't need to live inside Blockscout. contract parameters can be managed from the admin frontend with the owner wallet. settlement is automated. lifecycle functions remain permissionless. the BurnAccumulator is visible to everyone, and once its threshold is reached, anyone can trigger the burn. the contracts remain the source of truth. this started as my first client gig. there were moments I was tired. moments I was scared. moments I wondered whether i had taken on too much. but i learned more from shipping this system than I would have learned from another ten unfinished side projects. i met AITAX as an idea. now it is a working product. and after all those rounds that refused to settle... we're finally UP. 🚀
We met AITAX as a rough idea. Today, it is a working end-to-end product on Robinhood Chain. The original idea was simple: Build a PVP prediction game where players use $AITAX to predict whether Bitcoin moves UP or DOWN. Turning that idea into something people could actually use required much more than building a game screen. 👇🧵

Dear BSL family, we've a new home. We've been thinking about giving BlindspotLab a new home since Sept 14th, when we incorporated our company with CAC. But due to some circumstances, our founder got busy with a client project, fell sick, and the doctor said he had to rest because he had been working without enough rest. That's what caused the delay in the new BlindspotLab design. But here it is now. Restructured, redesigned, and on a new host. Cheers to new beginnings! BlindspotLab, 25/09/2026
hello everyone, we’re migrating from our former host that’s vercel to cloudflare, and our website will not be online for some minutes. thank you BlindspotLab 21/09/2026

npm run dev or pnpm run dev git is for only things that’s related to GitHub. when you’re committing modified or new folder/files when you’re pushing so it show on GitHub or stash when you want the local to merge with new files, you created outside of your local repo and you forgot to git pull origin main, before starting to work on the local repo.

THEY CALLED MY CAR A BASKET; Apẹrẹ, Nkata.😂 Many years ago, while working at UBA, I closed from work around 9:30pm. When I got downstairs, I met about 20–25 colleagues stranded at the entrance. The rain was torrential. Even people who had closed almost an hour earlier were still there, unable to walk to the car park. The wind was so fierce that umbrellas were almost useless. My manager was among those waiting. I looked at everyone, pushed my way to the front and walked straight into the rain. People looked at me in surprise. I was completely drenched by the time I reached the car park. I entered my Nissan Quest, drove it around to the bank entrance and picked up about eight people. I took them to their cars. Then I came back. Picked another group. Went back again. I think I made about four trips until everyone who needed help had been taken to their cars. There was only one small problem. One of the windows on the right side of my Nissan Quest had an issue, so the wind was blowing a little rain into the car. But nobody cared. They were just grateful to get out of that terrible rain. My manager was one of the people I carried. The following Monday, while some people were in his office, he jokingly asked me: “How far with your basket?” “Basket?” I asked. He laughed. He was referring to my leaking car. Everyone laughed. Later that same day, something interesting happened. One of our Directorate Heads told me management had given them new official vehicles. I jokingly asked him: “Sir, can you dash me your Mitsubishi Pajero?” He looked surprised. “Do you need a car?” “Yes, sir.” The Pajero was worth around ₦6 million at the time. Of course, giving it to me free was a stretch. 😂 Eventually, we agreed on ₦2.5 million. I raised the money within two weeks and bought it. Suddenly, the man whose car had been called a “basket” was driving a Mitsubishi Pajero. And, interestingly, my new car was now finer than my manager’s car. Then came another comment: He said the Pajero was too big for my status and that I would look like a messenger driving it. Well… That was his opinion. 😊 I had learned something: Never be ashamed of what you have while you are building what you want. That leaking Nissan Quest was good enough to rescue people from the rain - including the person who later laughed at it. Use what is in your hands today. Use it confidently. Use it to serve. Use it to solve problems. Your current “basket” may not look impressive to people. But don't despise it. Life can change very quickly.

Henceforth, you may address me as High-Chief Dr Chinonso Obiefule — Nnanyereugo I of Nneato Nweafor. Today, 22 September, His Royal Highness Eze Sir R. N. Nnanna, the Ekere II of Nneato Nweafor, together with the Nneato Nweafor Autonomous Community Council of Chiefs, presented me with the official instruments of office and conferred upon me the chieftaincy title of Nnanyereugo I of Nneato Nweafor Autonomous Community, Isiala Mbano, Imo State.  And this is a special title. As part of the Ìrì Jí Festival, several worthy individuals were honoured with chieftaincy titles, and I was humbled to be among the few conferred with the title of ‘High Chief’, a distinction that comes with an even greater responsibility to serve and represent our people well. Nnanyereugo comes from Nna nyere ugo: •Nna - father •Nyere - gave or bestowed •Ugo - literally “eagle,” but symbolically honour, excellence, prestige or glory in Igbo culture.  The title means “the Father has bestowed honour”. It recognises me as a man honoured first by God, the ultimate Father, and through my earthly father, from whom this honour and legacy were passed down to me. In Igbo culture, a chieftaincy title is a call to greater responsibility: to serve your people, uphold the values of your community and use your influence to create opportunities for others. That is the responsibility I have accepted, and one I intend to take seriously. My deepest gratitude goes to my family and friends who were present to witness this special day, to everyone who celebrated with me from near and far, and to His Royal Highness and the Council of Chiefs for finding me worthy of this honour. — High Chief Dr Chinonso Obiefule
