I am so sick of some you idiots. Big ol' political rant incoming... I’ve officially reached the end of my rope with a certain “type” on our side.... You know exactly who I’m talking about The perpetually miserable, terminally online political guy who has a bizarre "Daddy complex" with Trump and loses his fucking mind the second Daddy Trump doesn’t do exactly what he wanted, exactly when he wanted it, exactly how he imagined it happening in his 47-part thread he wrote at 2:13 in the morning. When the left is in power, these type of guys are warriors. Everything is an emergency. The country is being destroyed, our institutions are captured, schools are gone... the border is a joke, media is propaganda. The Deep State is real, and civilization is hanging by a thread. So these dudes suit up and fight like hell. Then we win, and suddenly these idiots become the most delicate, effeminate, disappointed creatures on the internet. Trump makes one decision they don’t like? BETRAYAL! Trump engages in normal diplomacy? HE’S CAPTURED! Trump doesn’t magically dismantle 50 years of institutional rot by Thursday afternoon? IT’S OVER! Trump acts like the president of the United States instead of the monarch of their personal political fantasy kingdom? THE MOVEMENT HAS FAILED! And then comes the black-pilling.... Every poll is bad. Every economic number is mess. Every appointment is compromised. Every negotiation is reallyt a surrender. Every compromise is treason. Every problem proves the entire project was doomed from the beginning... we were lied to, Trump is not the guy we thought he was, let's trash it and start over... And honestly, for a lot of these types, every fucking subject eventually circles back to Israel or “the Jews,” as if they’ve uncovered tgeh one magical explanation for every complicated political, cultural and economic problem on planet Earth. This horseshit is intellectually lazy as hell. But that doesn;t matter to them. Becuase it's become an identity to them. These people don’t just have political opinions anymore. They have an entire emotional ecosystem built around doom and gloom. They wake up miserable, log onto X, find 500 other miserable assholes, reinforce one another’s misery all day, and then call the feedback loop “seeing reality clearly.” They know what's "really going on." No, dumbass, you’re not some enlightened monk sitting on top of a mountain while the rest of us stumble around in darkness. You’re addicted to doom and gloom. And for a lot of these people, being RIGHT about disaster has become way more important than preventing disaster. That’s why the goalposts never stop moving. If something improves, they find something else that’s terrible, right? If one of theior predictions fails, another catastrophe is already loading up. If Trump does something they spent six months demanding, they barely mention it because acknowledging success would interfere with the narrative they’ve built around themselves. Their entire online identity now depends on proving that everything is fucked to high heaven. Sometimes these types spread this message loudly, like those retarded Hodge Twins. Sometimes, like that Election Wizard dude, they do it with that unbelievably annoying passive-aggressive routine where they just happen to post every negative poll, every ugly headline, every bad economic anecdote, every gloomy prediction and every piece of information that supports their worldview while somehow never noticing anything that complicates it. Those are the real cowards. And when anyone calls them on it? “Oh, sorry, I guess MAGA is a CULT now and nobody is allowed to criticize Trump.” LOL it's so predictability stupid and "leftwing." Total bullshit. Criticize him, go ahead, I have... because supporting somebody politically doesn't mean surrendering your brain or pretending every decision is brilliant. But there's a massive difference between criticism and nihilism. There's also a massive difference between saying, “I think this policy is wrong,” and spending every waking hour trying to convince millions of people that everything is hopeless because one president hasn’t delivered your personal version of political utopia. And there's definitely a difference between caring deeply about an issue and becoming such a deranged single-issue obsessive fuckwad that you’re willing to watch everything else burn as long as you get to scream, “SEE? I WAS RIGHT.” That mentality is fucking stupid and dangerous. Politics isn't your therapy, dumbasses. The president isn't your father or your king. The country ishn't your personal emotional support animal. And Donald Trump was never going to descend from the heavens, wave some magic wand and undo decades upon decades of damage that WE allowed to happen. Yes, WE.... For years, Americans blindly trusted people who didn’t deserve their trust. We believed politicians who told us outsourcing was dandy. We listened to Republicans who told us mass illegal immigration was a good thing because Americans supposedly wouldn’t do "certain jobs." We watched political correctness creep into every institution and treated it like an annoyance instead of a warning. We didn't fight back until it was already choking the living hell out of us. We watched schools, universities, corporations, entertainment, media and even churches become political battlegrounds while most normal people were busy living their lives. We tolerated and voted for weak politicians. We tolerated and voted for cowardice. We tolerated and voted for institutional decay. We fell asleep at the fucking wheel, guys... that's on us. And then, when the wreckage became impossible to ignore, millions of people looked around and said, “Somebody DO something.” And Trump did. He was a billionaire celebrity living an extraordinarily comfortable private life, and he chose to jump directly into the ugliest political meat grinder imaginable, and he and his family have suffered in ways most of us will never understand. I’ve been here since 2015. I remember what Republican politics looked like before Trump. I was alseep at the wheel for a long time, and I will admit that. I remember Romney.... I worked on that idiots campaign. I remember Bush.... I voted for that idiot twice. I remember Paul Ryan... I met him, and thought he was on "our side." I remember being told over and over again that the same polite, managed decline was somehow the responsible conservative position.... turn the other cheek, they said. So no, I am not going to develop political amnesia because butter costs too much this month in the USA. I’m not going to pretend an entire political movement has no value because coffee is expensive in Arkansas. I’m not going to decide every complicated geopolitical decision is secretly explained by “the Jews" being sneaky. And I’m sure as hell not going to pretend that non-stop despair, and constantly searching for the "real leader" is wisdom because somebody posts a poll or the latest diesel prices. Honestly, sometimes despair is just despair. And sometimes bitching is just bitching. Sometimes the guy who believes he is bravely “holding everyone accountable” is actually just an unhappy piece of shit who's made complaining his personality. And some of the biggest accounts on this platform have fallen straight into that hole. Nothing's ever enough, nobody's America First enough, no victory is good enough, progress doesn't count, because ISRAEL, and Jews, and bla bla bla. No explanation is acceptable for these whiny ass bitches. And political reality doens't matter. Everything must conform to the fantasy they've created in their head or the whole thing should be burned to the ground and started over. Guess what? That isn’t seeing “the bigger picture.” You know what it is... it's political narcissism. It’s this warped belief that if reality doesn’t perfectly conform to MY priorities, MY timeline, MY grievances and MY preferred outcome, then everyone else must be stupid, compromised or corrupt. And these dopes feed off each other. One incel pists despair. Another incel validates it.... A third adds a conspiracy twist, and a fourth adds a doom poll, then the fifth guy rolls up and predicts a total collapse. And everybody gets their dopamine hit, and they all feel smarter than the boomers and normies. Everybody congratulates one another for being brave enough to “tell the truth.” Then tomorrow, they'll log on and do it all again. Doom has become a security blanket for these freaks. But it's also become a "brand" too. And eventually, it morphs into your personality. And that's when you NEED things to go badly because if things actually improve, who the hell are you? That's where a lot of these losers are now. They don’t know how to build or persuade. They're incapable of taking a partial victory and pushing for more. They don’t know how to accept that politics involves competing interests, diplomacy, timing, tradeoffs, Congress, courts, bureaucracies, foreign governments, markets and about ten thousand other moving parts... that's too deep, layered and complex. It's so much easier to complain. And another point i want to make here... they confuse complaining with fighting. It's not the same. ... Fighting requires discipline and a plan, and perspective. It also requires an understanding that you won't get everything you want. And even more important, sometimes fighting means looking beyond your "favorite grievance" for five fucking minutes and remembering that an entire country exists outside your dopey-ass X feed. You want to criticize Trump? Go ahead..., have at it. You want to challenge a policy? Do it... do something, get involved. You want to argue about Israel, immigration, spending, foreign policy, personnel, inflation or anything else? Fantastic, make your case and move on. But spare me the sanctimonious horseshit that says turning yourself into a 24/7 fountain of despair somehow makes you morally superior to everybody else. It doesn’t, jackass. And also, spare me the idea that endlessly demoralizing everyone around you is some courageous act of patriotism.... it's not, you dropkick. Most of the time you’re not sounding the alarm... you're just making noise. I don't worship politicans or think they're my emotional support, and I don't expect perfection. And I sure as hell don’t expect one man to repair in a few years everything generations of Americans allowed to rot for decades... but what I do expect from supposedly serious people is some fucking realistic perspective. And if your entire contribution to the political conversation is anger, doom, purity tests, resentment, single-issue obsession and an endless need to prove that your darkest prediction was right… well, maybe the problem isn’t that everyone else “can’t handle the truth.” Maybe you’ve just become addicted to being miserable. And I’m fucking tired of pretending that’s useful... And if this is you, and you're reading this right now, eat shit.
