Bay Area gas prices in San Francisco, California have jumped 70 cents just in the last 30 days
“The cheapest price for a gallon of gas, the top left right there, $6.79” A “Shell station is $7.29”
For comparison gas prices have increased 35 cents in Republican states and the price of gas is nationwide is $4.48
This means gas prices are increasing at double the national rate in California’s Bay Area

The case of Iranian singer Parastoo Ahmadi tells you something about Iran that statistics on protests never quite capture.
In 2024, she stood in an empty caravanserai and sang without a hijab. No demonstration... just a woman singing.
This week, an appeals court upheld her punishment:
74 lashes, 2 years barred from leaving Iran and 2 years barred from audiovisual and musical work.
7 others who helped produce the performance received the same penalties.
And I realized: Sometimes you can measure how threatened a system feels by the size of the thing it decides must be punished.
In this case, it was a song. And open hair. It breaks my heart. And will break her skin.

September, 2024. Ken Dilanian criticizes Republicans for questioning the crime data put out by Biden's FBI.
"The FBI doesn't make these numbers up...The Republicans and others are pushing the narrative that this data is wrong."
Actually, the data was wrong and anybody paying attention knew it. Biden's FBI predictably ended up revising the numbers right before the election to show that violent crime had gone up, not down (after the MSM had spent months telling everyone how much crime had fallen to assist Biden's reelection campaign).
Fast forward to 2026 and Fusion Ken is on TV telling us not to trust the crime data being put out by the current FBI.

This is INSANE
Starting January 1, 2027, kids ages 8 to 16 have to pass a “Five-Step Test” before they can ride without a booster.
Fail any step and your 15-year-old — the one who can legally drive in some states — is back in a booster seat.
5 part test: 1. Sit all the way back. 2. Knees bent over the edge. 3. Belt across the chest just so. 4. Lap belt on the thighs. 5. Stay like that the whole trip.
This is the state that already treats childhood like a liability. Now they’re writing height-and-posture tests into the vehicle code so a teenager who doesn’t sit “correctly” can get you a ticket.

They will tell you it’s “only if the belt doesn’t fit.” They always start there.

In Afghanistan, girls have been shut out of secondary school, women need a male guardian to travel, and public floggings still happen for “moral” offenses. In Iran, forced hijab is law — women who defy it can be fined, banned from traveling, or sent to prison, and the punishments for activism are even worse. Divorce, custody, and inheritance all tilt male.

Police say three men in Florida slashed a guy’s tires at the Sanibel boat ramp, hid in the bushes, then beat him in the face with rocks while one recorded it.
They drove past his wife yelling they left him for dead. One of them already posted bond and walked.
That is not justice. It is a joke with a victim’s blood on it.

...then drove past his WIFE on the beach yelling "WE LEFT HIM THERE DE*D"... one of them is ALREADY OUT ON BOND!!!!!
Yes, you read that right.
Police say they planned it, disabled his truck so he couldn't leave, beat him with rocks, bragged about leaving him for de*d... and bond was set at $12,500.
His name is Yordanis Herrera.
On June 11th, he was at the Sanibel Boat Ramp with his wife.
According to the arrest affidavits, three men pulled into that parking lot in a white BMW and a black Ram pickup.
They found his Ford F-150.
Police say they slashed the tires so the truck wasn't going anywhere.
Then they hid in the bushes around the lot and waited for him to come back.
When he did, investigators say all three came out of the bushes holding ROCKS and surrounded him.
He tried to run.
Police say Hansel Pompa Mauri tackled him from behind, forced him to the ground, and held him there.
Then, according to the affidavit, Dayan Estrada De Armas and Roberto Antonio Estrada De Armas beat him with the rocks OVER AND OVER in the face.
By the time it was all over, he had deep lacerations and hematomas to his head and face.
Police say one of them was RECORDING IT while it happened.
Police say Pompa Mauri stomped on his phone and destroyed it.
Then all three left.
A witness told police she saw the white car heading north on Causeway Boulevard... right past Yordanis's wife, who was still on the beach.
And someone inside yelled: "We left him there de*d."
IT GETS WORSE.
Nothing happened for almost THREE MONTHS.
All three are charged with conspiracy and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Bond for the two men accused of swinging the rocks? Just $12,500 each.
Bond for the man accused of tackling the victim and holding him down while it happened? $13,500.
He's already posted it. He's OUT.
Twelve thousand five hundred dollars.
For a planned ambush where they nearly beat a man to DE*TH WITH ROCKS!!!!!!

Another secret? 5.1% growth.
We haven't seen that in decades.
Oh, and historically low core inflation of 2.4%.
The economy is catching fire at an historic rate. Working class wages are on fire, growing at over 4%.
But because the GOP has no war room, message, coordinated communications strategy, or really midterm campaign of any kind, no one knows.
It's total disarray, like the midterms are a final exam Trump and Republicans forgot to study for.
So it will stay a secret as socialists march into power for no clear reason.
