🎥 Why has the
#Rogue_State_of_Israel turned
#Palestine and the entire
#Middle_East into
#Hell?
#Mike_Huckabee, ambassador of Christian and Jewish Zionism in America and the world, explains the
#apocalyptic_religious_fundamentalism behind
#genocide and the
#Holocaustization_of_the_Middle_East👇👇
👈 From these two new clips of Mike Huckabee (
@GovMikeHuckabee)—and, of course, from a great many of his other videos and interviews—these two messages can be logically inferred:
🔺
#God, from His
#divine_station, intervened directly in
#history and the
#physical_world and
#personally brought Israel to the victories of the past few years: whoever helps Israel,
#his_life_in_this_world_and_the_world_to_come_becomes_paradise; and whoever criticizes Israel’s genocide,
#God_will_make_his_life_in_this_world_and_the_world_to_come_hell.
🔺
#God_personally_chose_me and sent me to
#Israel;
#Trump (
@realDonaldTrump) merely
#confirmed God’s choice. Therefore my word is God’s word: all of you must regard
#genocide and
#Israel’s_crimes_against_humanity as part of
#God’s_strategy for the formation of
#Greater_Israel.
✅ Huckabee in the first clip: “The only explanation for Israel’s rise is that God gave this land to the Jewish people. If we bless Israel, we ourselves will be blessed. But if we curse Israel, we ourselves will be cursed.”
✅ Huckabee in the second clip:
He tells a Jewish American audience that he has been chosen by “Hashem” (God) to be America’s ambassador to Israel.
He says that when Trump called him a few days after the election and, without asking, told him, “You will be my ambassador to Israel,” it was for him an “Isaiah moment.” He understood that the matter had been engineered in heaven. He regards this office not merely as a political post, but as a divine mission.
👈 Theological notes:
🔺 The promise of land is the Abrahamic claim in Genesis 12:7 and 15:18: “To your offspring I will give this land”; “To your offspring I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.”
🔺 The formula of blessing and cursing is Genesis 12:3: “I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” The same logic is repeated in Genesis 27:29 and Numbers 24:9: “Blessed are those who bless you, and cursed are those who curse you.”
🔺 The “Isaiah moment” refers to Isaiah 6:8: “And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I; send me.’”
🔺 “Hashem” (literally “the Name”) is the reverential Jewish substitute for the divine name, used here for a Jewish audience; its theological content is the same as Isaiah’s claim of divine election and sending.
🔺 In other tellings of the same story, Huckabee usually adds Esther 4:14 as well: “And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” In this clip he specifically emphasizes Isaiah.
🔹 Three theological questions:
🔺 Such points exist in the
#sacred_texts_of_all_religions. And have the followers of all religions throughout history taken themselves, or their government, or their people and community, to be
#the_referent_of_those_theological_claims? What, then, is to be done by people today, by human societies, and especially by governments such as
#Israel and
#America, which on the one hand present themselves as
#secular and on the other emphasize every day the
#Jewish_and_Christian character of their
#political_regime? (In metaphysics, determining the referent is improbable and almost impossible.)
🔺 I say with absolute certainty that in the sacred texts of some religions—whose populations are as far from the Jews as heaven is from earth—God has said explicitly, again and again: “And I want to make you dominant over the whole earth and ruler of the world.” Do their political rulers also have the right, every day, like
#Jewish_and_Christian_Zionists, to speak in this way and to create
#terrorism,
#genocide,
#war_crimes,
#crimes_against_humanity,
#apartheid, and a
#rogue_state in the world and the Middle East?
🔺 After the Holocaust, many specialists in Jewish theology wrestled with the question of why God gave no help to His chosen people and allowed them to be slaughtered in this way. Martin Buber, in *Eclipse of God* (1952), spoke of the “eclipse of God” in the modern age in order to address this metaphysical-theological-religious problem; the phrase is bound to the biblical concept of *hester panim*, the hiding of God’s face. Eliezer Berkovits, in *Faith after the Holocaust* (1973), made this hiddenness of God the center of his response. Richard Rubenstein, in *After Auschwitz* (1966), spoke of the collapse of the God who acts in history. Emil Fackenheim, in *God’s Presence in History* (1970), wrote of God’s silence and eclipse after Auschwitz. Hans Jonas, in “The Concept of God after Auschwitz” (1984), set aside the absolute power of an intervening God. André Neher, in *The Exile of the Word* (1981), spoke of the silence of God, and Elie Wiesel, in *Night* (1958), recorded the literary testimony of that same absence and silence. This discussion then made its way into Christian theology and the philosophy of religion as well. Zionists, however, appear to do the reverse: they say that a personal, anthropomorphic God is present and intervenes directly, even in the smallest details, on behalf of His chosen people. Such claims generate dozens of metaphysical and theological problems that Zionists such as Huckabee, Netanyahu (
@netanyahu), Itamar Ben-Gvir (
@itamarbengvir), and Bezalel Smotrich, the finance minister (
@bezalelsm), are unlikely to be able to answer.
