Over the summer, Penrose onboarded 50+ vendors and entrepreneurs, helping them understand the benefits of accepting stablecoins for payments. At Harbour Nights, our Bermuda team Kerem Kolcuoglu (@kkolworld), Sean Stapley (@SeanxStapley), Jacob Woodhouse (@_jwoodhouse_), Dallas Scott, Kaleo Place, Musa Abdul-Jabbar, introduced vendors to stablecoins, with several setting up wallets to accept digital dollars instantly. Penrose Partners also partnered with the @BEDCBDA to launch a monthly digital payments educational series for local business owners and entrepreneurs. An exciting step toward making digital dollar payments more accessible across Bermuda.

Congratulations to Musa Abdul-Jabbar who has completed his Penrose Internship and is now heading to St. John’s University (@StJohnsU) in New York City to pursue and further his education in the financial sector. He played an instrumental role in our work in educating Bermudian business owners and entrepreneurs on digital payments, stablecoins and their role in the emerging digital economy.  Well done on a fantastic Summer internship, Musa. Penrose Partners has been working with the @BEDCBDA to deliver a series of Digital Payments workshops!  Part of our Digital Finance Education program, the series gives attendees a crash course on digital payments and how their businesses can accept them.  Bermudian Entrepreneurs have been learning how to use Base (@base) and Decaf (@Decaf_so) wallets with Penrose team members Musa Abdul-Jabbar, Kaleo Place, Dallas Scott & Jacob Woodhouse (@_jwoodhouse_).  The workshop’s aim is to inform and guide attendees through the set up and basic operations of digital finance.  Our next workshop will be announced soon, stay tuned!

Initiated by @kevinzhangTO, Founder of @LoonFinance, and supported by Stand With Crypto Canada, the petition brought nearly 9,000 advocate voices to Parliament calling for clear and responsible stablecoin rules. The journey to get here started long before the petition was read - from live stablecoin demos for MPs and staff in Ottawa, to months of education, advocacy, and community action. 🇨🇦Together, 130,000 Stand with Crypto advocates helped stablecoins become part of national policy.
