What the hell does how a private company chooses to charge its customers have to do with the government? If you don't like Ryanair or whoever, don't fly with them.
This will, as night follows day, lead to a reduction in supply and the overall cost rising as the separate charges are rolled in. And if that's banned, an even bigger reduction in supply.
We are governed by idiots.

I know holidays are expensive and these are small things, but hopefully they'll make your trip just that little bit cheaper and easier.
That's exactly the kind of thing I want this government to keep on fixing.
