5 years and $12 million dollars later the performative photo of Trudeau kneeling over a water pipe for a photo-op highlights the lengths our Government will go to divide our Country. Countless churches were burned to the ground because of his rhetoric & misinformation. Our Country has been ran by some sick people. Anyone who continues to support this party needs to take a long look in the mirror.

Our tax dollars ...TO TERRORISTS
Replying to @MarkJCarney
Good morning, Mark. You just gave Hamas another 100 million dollars. What do you think they are going to do with that money? More of this?

Our tax dollars...wasted and abused as usual
Senator Daryl Fridhandler asked the government yesterday to legislate full public disclosure of CBC’s internal editorial and language directives CBC, which receives almost a billion and a half dollars a year in public funding, had told journalists this summer not to call the September 11 attacks a terrorist attack and to describe them as hijackings instead. It reversed that instruction after public outcry “How are we to know what’s in the news we consume?” he asked, comparing the directives to labeling requirements on food The government said political involvement in CBC’s editorial line would not be wise and did not identify a way for Canadians to see those guidelines @PresidentCBCRC

Stagnant growth. Shrinking paycheques. Sky-high bills. The Financial Post just called the destination. Gwyn Morgan, today. Another failed government in Ottawa. The 2026-27 deficit is $78.3 billion. Since 2015, $828 billion more investment capital has left the country than come in. In 2024 the average family paid 42.3 percent of its income in tax. Housing, food and clothing together took 35.5. The government take beat the groceries and the roof. His answer is a closer deal with a Europe we already have agreements with. CETA. Britain. EFTA. The customer who buys the oil and the cars is still the United States. Montreal is booked anyway. A pivot to a slower market, a deficit that does not flinch, and capital walking out the door. That is not a plan that has not landed yet. That is the result. All talk. The file is the delivery. #cdnpoli

A Washington state resident, James Cody Briant, was just indicted on conspiracy to commit murder in a foreign country for his assistance in the Tumbler Ridge mass shooting carried out by Jesse Van Rootselaar. The indictment is repulsive. But I can’t get over the fact that it is drafted to refer to Jesse as “she / her” throughout, whereas Jesse was a man. Not only is it repulsive to seemingly respect the “gender identity” wishes of a deceased mass murderer… It’s ultimately very confusing to read, because you don’t know who they’re talking about some of the time. Good to know the FBI is sufficiently woke that they won’t misgender a mass murderer in an indictment. Although ironically by calling a man “she”, they are in fact misgendering the mass murderer.

@ElectionsAB please tell us how we can trust a vote if your process allows for people to cast votes without being confirmed as eligible voters? @ABDanielleSmith please address this publicly. Can Albertans trust this process? Does the Elections Alberta process ensure that only eligible voters participate in the referendum?
Attending a "Scrutineer Training" seminar this evening to prepare for the upcoming vote on October 19th. I am absolutely gobsmacked to learn no proof of citizenship is required to cast a ballot. Scenario: - A young person shows up to a polling station. Looks 18-ish. - Elections officer can't find their name on the voter list. - "I just turned 18, here's my driver's license with my Alberta address." Elections officer or scrutineer can ask, "Are you a citizen?" But cannot require proof of citizenship. Lying about citizenship supposedly carries the risk of a fine. (But a person illegally voting isn't likely to care about a fine.) Nonetheless, their name gets added to the list, they get to cast a secret ballot, and *maybe* *just maybe* Elections Alberta will follow-up AFTER October 19th to check whether they are in fact a citizen. If they aren't, *maybe* *just maybe* they'll face a fine. cc: @AngelaPittAB, @ABDanielleSmith

A trick the liberals took from the US
1
I never wanted to be a politician. For years, I had been watching helplessly as the province that I loved and wanted for my children steadily slipped away. It was one man’s courage that drew me in. John Rustad had taken a principled stand and refused to remove a tweet on X that his then-leader of the BC Liberal Party, Kevin Falcon, had wanted erased. It was only after his third request that John persuaded me to put my name forward. The energy behind the grassroots conservative movement in the lead-up to the last election was unmistakable. The BC Conservatives went from dormancy to within a few hundred votes of forming government. I won my riding by a large margin. But there were warning signs that began even before the election. John and the party executive began shutting down riding associations and removing candidates. MLAs who were fleeing the crumbling BC United Party were ushered in, and it became increasingly clear that the “big tent” did not have much room for outspoken conservatives. It was several acts of cowardice that drove me away. Within a few months after the election, John was himself demanding that my colleague remove her own public statements. Weeks later, we saw busloads shipped in to rig the outcome of the party’s AGM. I left the party but I didn’t leave my constituents. With the support of a few brave souls, we tackled hundreds of local case files. Nor did I leave our movement. We fought in the Legislature for the changes needed to restore hope to this beautiful province, with bills covering everything from lowering the cost of housing to the closure of drug consumption sites, and to ending irreversible child gender transitions. I watched as many of my colleagues bit their tongues or looked the other way. I saw the cancer spread. I warned Kerry Lynne that she would never be welcomed by that caucus. Immediately after a shocking leadership race outcome by the 27,000 party members who voted, she was assaulted by warring liberal factions who, from the earliest days, began sabotaging her for their own ends. Threats. Recordings. Leaks. Lies. Even blackmail. The BC Conservative Party has become the party of blackmail. It is fully captured by the corrupt political establishment that it was always intended to replace. I cannot support it. How could we? A party that will so brazenly betray its members can only become a government that betrays British Columbian voters. It would do no more than change the names of the existing crises. They would just replace DRIPA with a new law to give away your land. SOGI by another name. Their friends instead of Eby’s friends into cushy positions, growing our ever-bloating bureaucracy. To the many supporters who have called, messaged and flooded my inbox in recent days, thank you for your love and your trust. For your resolve. We will not give up hope. There is too much at stake. I believe in our movement. It is not bound to any one party or to any single individual. It is greater than any one of us. And it is all of us together that give it such great potential. Keep your hearts open. There are good and principled people in this province. The change we bring is inevitable, like the rain finding its way to the sea. One river has been blocked. We will find a new channel.

How can this ruling be legal..is the Charter that useless ??
What an absolutely appalling ruling. Since when is the "security of the person" served by making it easier to flood streets with deadly drugs?

Judges aren't above criticism. If your career was activism and your rulings look like activism, don't be shocked when people connect the dots. Well said @sarkonakj
It has come to my attention that I have been denounced by @Advocates_Soc for criticizing judicial decisions — and yes, individual judges. Here's the thing. When someone, for example, spends her lawyerly career writing op-eds in favour of migration and calling herself an activist, and then becomes a federal judge, and from that seat allows all sorts of undesirables to remain in Canada on weak grounds, people are free to draw a connection from A to B. When a judge, for example, spends his lawyer years advocating fiercely for more race-based law, and then later throws out gun charges of black men on his (unsupported) assertion that police were racist during their arrests, people are free to question whether he's really a fair adjudicator. When a judge, for example, says that a ban on drug trafficking is unconstitutional, and then *applauds* vigilante drug dealers for their self-proclaimed safe supply program — applauds them for supporting the business of organized crime and feeding the addictions of street people — that's beyond the pale. You're worried about democracy being poisoned? Worry about the judge who threw out Parliament's law against selling heroin because she felt it was "common sense" that it was supported by science. I agree that it's not right to criticize a judge personally for impartially applying the law and coming to an unpopular decision (which they may even privately disagree with). But when their professional history, or their conduct in court, suggests allegiance to a cause that they happen to be ruling softly on, it will get noticed. Bringing the administration of justice into disrepute is a two-way street, you know.

Mark Carney’s appointment of Omar Alghabra—a former minister and documented supporter of Firas Al-Najim—who has praised Hamas, Hezbollah, and protested outside Jewish institutions terrorist activists—to an antisemitism council is pure farce. This is the same man Poilievre just eviscerated for his record. Canada now looks like a pathetic international joke, where ideology trumps basic decency and security. Embarrassing. ⬇️⬇️

Pathetic thugs
The RCMP @rcmpgrcpolice have evolved into some of the biggest pieces of shit around with a classic example named Brad Hartridge. They’re responsible for corruption and the failure of this country. Why? Because they’re the ones who are supposed to enforce the law and send those who participate in corruption and fraud through the criminal justice system. Instead, they spend their time harassing Canadians, taking orders, and acting like bootlickers for the fraudsters and shitheads in government. And then, to make matters even worse, they recruit their own little subgoons on site in the form of bylaw officers. This situation is a perfect example of the RCMP putting that behaviour on full display. I’d like to know who the big goon working for the City of Kelowna @cityofkelowna was who thought he had the right to put his gloves on and then put his hands on me. Maybe the City can show me, in writing and in the paperwork governing its bylaw officers, exactly what authorizes one of its officers to put his hands on me and also assault me. Tom Dyas @MayorTomDyas or any of his staff have failed to return any of my communication to find out who this person is. When you cast your vote in the next election Kelowna. It’s time for the fools to go. And then there’s the RCMP officer. Getting assaulted by an RCMP officer and then deliberately being subjected to what felt like torture in the back of his police car cranking the heat up inside the vehicle while it was sitting in the sun simply because he didn’t like being recorded is absolute fucking bullshit. This is exactly the kind of behaviour that puts the RCMP on full display: instead of accountability, transparency, and enforcing the law fairly, it looks like intimidation, retaliation, and abuse of authority. If this is how they choose to treat Canadians who are recording them and exercising their rights, then the problem isn’t just one bad interaction the behaviour itself deserves to be questioned.

He spent 30 years arresting criminals. Now he's one. Stephen Gray, 65, served nearly three decades with Cleveland Police. He shared a meme on Facebook. Bacon, a man in a turban, and the line: "People who eat bacon have a lower chance of marrying a 9-year-old!" A neighbour he'd fallen out with reported him. Prosecutors said there wasn't enough to charge him. The neighbour appealed, and they charged him anyway. In April, a magistrate ruled the joke "grossly offensive." Over £1,000 in fines and costs. He's appealing.
