$PACK has already burned more than 5% of its total supply in its first 48 hours. A lot of misinformation on how the process works: PACK trades across 10 separate pools. Each paired asset moves independently, so the pools can temporarily imply different prices for PACK. Arbitrage bots constantly correct those differences: Buy PACK where it’s cheaper ↓ Sell PACK where it’s more expensive ↓ Pull the pools back toward the same price ↓ Every leg of that arbitrage pays a 1% trading fee Every 12 hours, a new harvest becomes available: 1. Fees collected in PACK are burned. 2. Fees collected in the paired tokens are split. Half remains as the paired side of the liquidity. Half enters the buyback pool and is used to buy PACK. But the buyback is not executed all at once. A large market buy against one of the smaller pools would be easy to front-run and back-run, allowing bots to extract much of the value. Instead, the buyback is TWAPed throughout the following 12-hour period, gradually purchasing PACK with less price impact. Each harvest is also capped based on the size of each individual pool. Anything that cannot be processed remains queued for a future harvest, it is not lost.

The goal is to bring everyone to the same table and give the community a meaningful voice in deciding which builders and projects deserve support. We’ll review proposals, discuss their potential, and vote on grants that can help promising teams take their next step. As a builder, I know how much the right support can matter. Strong ideas need more than talent. They need resources, feedback, connections, and people willing to believe in them early. I’m looking forward to bringing a builder’s perspective to the committee and supporting teams that are genuinely shipping, experimenting, and creating value for the Avalanche ecosystem. There’s been a lot of noise around the Build Games results, so I want to give a perspective from someone who actually listened to most of the pitches. From a pure judging standpoint, @MeridianProto stood out immediately. The moment I heard the pitch, I knew it was going to win. It wasn’t close. I called it in multiple private and group chats. That doesn’t mean I didn’t have questions. I did. I even pushed on things like unverified contracts, contract complexity, and lack of testing. Those are valid concerns. But zooming out, you have to evaluate what was actually presented. Most submissions fell into a few buckets: 1⃣ Copycats 2⃣ Small games 3⃣ Short-term/degen ideas 4⃣ Apps that realistically won’t scale or bring meaningful TVL That’s fine, it’s a 3–4 week build window. But if you’re judging based on: ✅ Real-world utility ✅ Ability to scale ✅ Potential to attract users and capital ✅ Quality of vision and execution There was only one project that clearly checked those boxes. That’s why Meridian won. Also worth remembering: these teams had a few weeks. Of course there will be bugs. Of course things won’t be perfect. That’s the entire point of a competition like this, it’s a starting line, not a finished product. The prize money itself doesn’t even cover audits. It’s not some massive payday, it’s a stepping stone to get real funding and actually build something meaningful. If you have concerns, that’s completely fair. Ask questions. Challenge things. That’s how the ecosystem improves. But piling on and attacking builders who just spent weeks grinding to create something ambitious isn’t it. We want people building serious applications on $AVAX. When someone actually does that, the response shouldn’t be to tear them down. We're all human, let's treat each other with dignity and respect.

There’s a lot of frustration across the $AVAX ecosystem right now. I feel it, you feel it, everyone feels it. It’s easy to look for someone to blame, and @AvaLabs has become the default target. Meanwhile, @vohvohh is out there responding to every thread trying to calm the storm. But let’s zoom out for a moment. Most of our frustration stems from price action. Completely understandable. But this isn’t happening solely because “Avalabs/FDN is selling.” Big exchanges, market makers, and institutional partners come with real obligations. Every major project listed on Coinbase or Binance goes through this same thing. It’s part of the game. What matters is that Avalabs is listening. They understand the pain points and they’re working on solutions. I shared my own frustrations in a private builders group, what I thought needed to change, what was missing, and what I’d like to see. Some ideas weren’t feasible based on past attempts, but others sparked interest. My biggest push was simple: better communication and more spotlight for smaller builders. One idea was a weekly podcast or X Space with Avalabs team members featuring emerging projects. Let’s see if it gains traction. Instead of spiraling into endless complaining, let’s pivot to solutions. At the end of the day, we’re the ones steering our own destiny. One idea, one contribution, one build can shift the direction of an entire network. Remember when @TheArena launched, thousands flocked to the network to join in on the fun. If you want something powerful built on-chain, something you believe could be a banger, speak up. Share the idea. I’ll build it. Other builders will build it. The talent is here. So let’s start with this: Provide constructive feedback. Suggest solutions. Help shape the future. Price will take care of itself when the broader crypto liquidity cycle turns. What we can control is making sure that when liquidity returns, Avalanche is a well-oiled machine firing on all cylinders. Take a breath, focus on the underlying issues, and help move the ecosystem forward. The next breakthrough idea might come from you.

Pangolin saying “this can’t happen on PGN V3” is simply incorrect. Their architecture uses the exact same flow: frontend → PositionManager (0xf409…6A7F) → mint() → refundETH() inside a multicall. Here’s the issue: Blackhole’s frontend forgot to include the refund step. Pangolin also relies on the exact same refund, and if they removed it, the leftover AVAX would be exposed the same way. There is no special router sitting between the user and mint(). The Position Manager handles the LP mint and the refund, just like every other UniV3-style integration.
