When the unemployment rate hits 40% will utilities still cut off access to people who fall behind? What happens to their housing? Will banks actually foreclose on that many properties? What about food? How do we survive when all this fucking bullshit was completely avoidable?

BOOM! Massive crowd packing deep-red Texas for James Talarico. Texas is alive, furious, and ready to sweep out the rot. Talarico laid down the mandate: ban partisan gerrymandering, pass sweeping anti-corruption laws, and restore balance to the Supreme Court. Want to see GOP scam artists shit their diapers? Tell them you want to give the voice back to the people, end corruption, and even out the Supreme Court—they’ll tell Jesus to hold on because they have another building to loot. The political shift in Texas is real. They can’t run from it forever.

My prediction: No Democrat running for President will win the primary or general election without first committing to restore the White House, Kennedy Center and Washington, DC to pre-trump. And promising to do so with fireworks and music would poll well with voters.
Just FYI the arch in dc is gonna be knocked the F down immediately upon a new president

I think we should pass mandatory minimum sentences for politicians who break the law. Any politician convicted of a crime while in office or any time after, should be required to serve the maximum penalty for whatever crime they committed. Mandatory.

If a politician or former politician is convicted of a crime that carries a 2-5 year sentence, they should get a mandatory five years. Make the law stick and let's hold the assholes accountable. Like Mike Caruso in FL. Passes a death penalty bill for pedos. Turns out, he's a pedo

Give him what he wants to give to other people. If the death penalty is good enough for those pedos, it's good enough for that pedo.

💥💥David Jolly interview just now A model for the post DeSantis /Trump Florida AND America Believe… no matter your party , there is a home for *you* in this message Nicolle Wallace): ...um, it was not meant to actually do anything for their lives or Trump would have helped them with their lives if he could also get rich on crypto. I mean, are you finding an advantage to having once been a Republican in assembling this unique coalition that you're talking about? (David Jolly): Yeah, I do, because I—I actually reject the left-right spectrum, right? So, when I talk about a state catastrophic fund for insurance, or delivering more workforce in affordable housing, or delivering more healthcare, I'm actually talking about reducing cost. And so, progressives sometimes are reticent to celebrate me, even though I'm talking about really improving people's basic livelihood. But Republicans are saying, "Oh, Jolly just makes business sense, right?" If we deliver more healthcare, we reduce the cost of avoidable hospital costs. If we renew our commitment to public education and lead the world, we create a stronger economy. A state catastrophic fund for insurance is just the only actuarially sound way to cover natural disasters in a natural disaster state. And then even moving to culture wars, Nicolle, look, I am passionate about my personal faith. My—my orientation is in faith, but if you subscribe to no faith at all, but just believe in Jefferson's natural rights of man, what I summon is the old-school Republican libertarianism that says, "✅Just keep government out of your life, out of your doctor's office, out of your bedroom." So, interestingly, I believe I'm amplifying the values of the Democratic Party, but Republicans are hearing it because of what they used to believe in. And I will speak to Republicans about this tonight on primary night to say, while some of your leaders have forgotten their roots, I have not forgotten mine. The economy should work, but it should work for everybody. We should lead with the private sector, but government's got to do its part. We should get government out of your life and allow everybody's dignity to be respected. Those are the basics, whether you're a Democrat, Republican, or Independent tonight” ((Remember .. they try to divide us to keep THEIR power over YOU)))let’s change that model, fellow Floridians ! @davidjollyfl @laurajollyfl @GwenGraham

Farmers have figured out that the cheapest pesticide is a strip of flowers, and the scientists have verified it. Swiss researchers sowed flower strips through 10 winter wheat fields and compared them to 15 fields without. Cereal leaf beetle larvae dropped 40%. Second-generation adults dropped 53%. Damage to the wheat fell 61%. That pushed the pest below the threshold where spraying pesticides is even worth the money. A follow-up study on perennial strips found beetle larvae down 66%, and yield in the wheat beside them up 10%. The catch is that this only works when the strips are built for it. Those Swiss trials used specific plants chosen to feed specific predators: cornflower, coriander, buckwheat, poppy. A generic wildflower mix along the field edge doesn't reliably do this. The same principle scales down to a garden. Plant a strip of yarrow, dill, fennel, or mountain mint through the middle of your vegetable beds, not just around the outside. Then leave it alone and let the bugs go to work.

If schools are making all the kids trans then why are trans kids still only ~1% or less of the population. Just seems like there'd be more running around everywhere doing teen takeovers or something. #LGBTQ #Pride

I think we should have a version of the Hunger Games, bit only the rich participate. We round up the world's top 1% and we make them fight to keep their wealth. The loser's wealth gets liquidated and divided amongst the people of whatever region they represent.

🚨 4,000 houses across from Hillsborough River State Park. Hillsborough County is considering changing a project from 700 to 4,000 units despite infrastructure that can barely handle today’s traffic. The maximum allowable donation for local county commissioners is $1,000. Developers have found a loophole by using multiple LLCs. If you create 25 LLCs, you can legally donate $25,000 in total, effectively circumventing campaign finance laws. Meanwhile, Florida bought conservation easements from the president and vice president of PBA Holdings, a company involved in Project Tango, the proposed data center project. That comes after the state approved an $83 MILLION, 4-acre Destin sandbar with little to no conservation value. Where is the Agriculture Commissioner? @WiltonSimpson took $25,000 from the developer and voted to approve the Destin sandbar. Florida deserves better. I want the next President to deliver for the American people in the same way Donald Trump delivered for himself, his family, and cronies. Funnel us money. Cut our taxes. Give us healthcare even if Republicans say no. Break up these monopolies. Clean up our environment.
