I’m still angry that our legislative days got cut short last week. There’s too much serious work to do. But we made every minute we had count. ✅ Passed the Ratepayer Protection Act so families aren’t stuck footing the bill for the massive power infrastructure data centers need. ✅ Passed tax relief for victims of fraud and scams. Getting robbed once is bad enough. The IRS shouldn’t get to kick you while you’re down. ✅ Passed Russia and Iran sanctions targeting the banks, energy revenues, and networks helping fund aggression around the world. ✅ Advanced the Foreign Robocall Elimination Act to crack down on the overseas networks behind scam calls targeting Americans. And that was just the legislative work. We met with constituents from back home, sat down with health care leaders, addressed threats to America’s communications infrastructure, continued work on our sexual misconduct legislation, signed more than 100 constituent letters, and helped folks navigate federal agencies. The House may be out of session, but our work doesn’t stop. Our offices are open. Our phones are on. Team Kat is open for business. See you around the district!
