I spoke with Colorado Farm Bureau President Carlyle Currier at the @HouseAgGOP committee hearing about the importance of the Food for Peace program. I was proud to see this legislation included in the Senate Farm Bill to permanently move the Kansas-born program back to its rightful home at USDA—helping increase demand for homegrown products while feeding hungry mouths worldwide.

America will never forget September 11, 2001. Today, we remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost in the deadliest terrorist attack in our nation’s history. On the 25th anniversary, let us honor their memory, the heroism of our first responders, and the brave men and women who answered the call to serve in the aftermath.

Today, we remember the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk. His death is a heartbreaking reminder of the evils of political violence. I continue to pray for Charlie’s family and friends, and hope we can all follow his example by coming together to uphold the promise of this great country.
