I just know that the title track was kick ass. And Dinah-Moe-Humm was everyone's favorite from this.

Keep in mind I'm an old motherfucker. As far as MTV Video Music Awards opening acts go… That was some kick ass choreography and visuals. It almost made me want my MTV. Only older. I believe this GIF is appropriate for today.

Cleaning out my mother-in-law's storage shed and we ran across this. It's not worth a whole lot monetarily, but the sentimental value is priceless. Of course by the time my grandson gets old enough to sell it, it might be worth more and then you forget about the sentimental value and go for the cash. The year was 2004. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of rock 'n' roll.

I just watched the movie FLOW for the second time. The symbolism in that movie is incredible. And to go through that range of emotions with an animated film amazes me. If you ever watch it, be sure to watch until after the film credits. I'm pretty sure I'll watch it again sometime.

We found my father-in-law‘s old high school yearbook. 1955. The family and I always called him Dopey. That was his nickname. All I ever heard was, “It’s a seven dwarfs thing.” Evidently, he had that name all his life because everyone in the yearbook signed it to Dope, a really ‘swell’ guy. Everything is really swell in this book. The hairstyles and glasses on the women are straight out of The Far Side. It’s really pretty cool. And I wish all of you a really swell day. 50th in Healthcare. 50th in Healthcare. 50th in Healthcare. 50th in Healthcare. From a wealthy, dishonest man in a wheelchair, a crooked attorney general and a lieutenant governor that keeps sticking money in his pocket from the alcohol lobby. Who all get free Healthcare by the way. I think you get the point. #UnTexasMyTexas
There is no reason Texas should be at the bottom when it comes to health care and education. But under Greg Abbott Texas is: 50th in health care 47th in public school funding 33rd in teacher pay @GinaHinojosaTX will turn it around. We can’t afford to keep falling behind.

I've met several famous people in my life, but the 30 seconds that I got to chat with David Bowie... indescribable. I'm just glad I didn't pass out. "Did you ever meet Frank Zappa?" "No. But I know enough not to eat the yellow snow."

Hey Texas, let's not forget that Dan Patrick is also on the ballot this year. This is the man screaming on your TV to restrict transgender athletes from competing in sports. I know that most of you haven't lost any sleep worrying about this, but it's all he's got. He's also the guy who made vapes and certain THC products a felony. With God's help, of course. He's running for his fourth term and I know I've had enough. If we're gonna turn Texas blue, let's go all the way. Let's give @VikkiGoodwinTX a shot, shall we? Her campaign focuses on affordability, public schools, health care, housing, water and energy. She’s talked about expanding Medicaid, raising teacher pay, and boosting affordable housing. And last but not least, she supports legalizing and regulating THC with age limits. She’s described it as treating THC more like alcohol... legal, regulated and taxed.

This is the description that I entered into ChatGPT and the picture that it came up with. "A fictional caricature of a big, round, orange-tinted cartoon pedophile with exaggerated jowls, a loud patterned suit, slicked back hair, a smug little grin, and oversized rings on his fingers.” Make it an editorial cartoon style, full body, detailed. Plain background.

It’s a new day and the Republicans have all retreated back into the dark before they are exposed to sunlight. Don’t tell me they’re not scared to death of the Democrats. A few garlic necklaces and some wooden stakes and we’ve got them in retreat.

Just sayin'... actually, Google is just sayin'... Visual anomalies that strongly point toward it being AI-generated. Visual Clues & Discrepancies •Anatomical Errors: If you look closely at Donald Trump's left arm wrapping around the woman's waist, his hand and fingers blend unnaturally into the fabric of her white dress. The hand positions and grips look soft, slightly misshapen, and lack defined anatomical boundaries. •Texture Inconsistencies: The texture of his hair and skin appears excessively smoothed out, almost like a digital painting. This "waxy" or airbrushed finish is highly characteristic of modern AI generation models. •Unnatural Lighting and Physics: The way the sunlight hits the subjects creates conflicting shadows. Additionally, the woman's hair bun is perfectly symmetrical yet lacks realistic flyaways, appearing too uniform for an outdoor golf environment. •Context and Background: The background is entirely blurred into a generic green field, which AI models frequently utilize to avoid rendering complex textures or background details accurately.

My wife found this exact T-shirt while digging through her old cedar chest. It's original from the 1970s. This is a picture I found on the Internet but it's this shirt. Evidently, it's worth over $200. But my wife would have to be in a coma to let it go. And if I were to say the phrase, "I'd walk over you to see The Who" would you understand it?

I didn't used to have a fear of heights. I would climb ladders and stand on roofs. Ferris wheels were a piece of cake. Even the top of the oil derrick at Six Flags over Texas was no challenge. I worked apartment maintenance in my 20s and the A/C units were on top of two-story apartment buildings. I can remember the exact afternoon that I froze and locked up. Suddenly, the edge became a great magnetic force that was wanting to pull me over. I sat down, clinging to the roof for dear life. There was no way that I could scoot down and get closer to the ladder. I was going to spend the rest of my life in that very spot. When two of the biggest, burliest residents came up to get me, I panicked even more. It was only when I was threatened with the embarrassment of calling the Fire Department that I closed my eyes and let them guide me to the ladder. Once I finally had a hold of the ladder, it was pretty easy to come down, but my eyes were still closed all the way. The feeling of being on solid ground was incredible. And I have avoided heights ever since. I have no idea why this happened when it did. And believe me, I have thought about it. The only thing that sounds close to the cause of the sudden fear is perhaps a dream I had. But I couldn't swear to it.
