It totally slipped my mind that this was Friday night.
If I remember correctly, the band starts between 9 and 10 PM. We should probably arrive at the bar by eight to get a good table by the dance floor. The first pitcher of beer is on me. One of you grab a pool table and rack 'em up!
I'm gonna go ahead and hop in the shower and start getting ready. I have a brand new bottle of English Leather.
PLAY FREEEEEBIRD!!
Or, I could slip on my jammies and watch a little TV.
Sometimes life's decisions are hard.
The word retarded means slowed down or delayed. At one time, it was commonly used by doctors to describe people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
I will always believe that people who use the word 'retards' as a derogatory slur are by definition, retarded.
Fox News spends all day telling you communism is evil, then Bret Baier, Laura Ingraham, and Jesse Watters put on tuxedos and attend a state dinner honoring China’s communist leader.
They are so full of shit.
I am absolutely livid.
We had to drive to the Walgreens in Alma because the Van Buren Walgreens no longer has a pharmacy, and my husband has a prescription we can only get through Walgreens.
We get there and they tell us the copay is $190.79. It has ALWAYS been $23. It was $23 last month. So we questioned it right there at the window.
The employee was snotty and arrogant and acted like we were just a couple of clueless old people who couldn’t possibly know what we normally pay. He insisted $190.79 was correct.
So we called our insurance company. The copay is $23.
Now here’s the part that really gets me. Walgreens has our credit card on file and had no problem charging $190.79 to it, but they apparently can’t refund the overcharge to that same card unless we physically return to the store.
That means another 50-mile round trip because someone couldn’t be bothered to double-check something we specifically questioned while standing right in front of him.
Mistakes happen. I can deal with a mistake. What I have a problem with is arrogance when a customer tells you something isn’t right and you can’t be bothered to check.
And sometimes those “clueless old people” standing at your window actually know exactly what they’re talking about.

Ken Paxton repeatedly accepted campaign funds from alleged child sex abuser Paul Pressler.
Pressler was accused by 8 men of raping and abusing young boys.
Radar’s teddy bear was never given a name on screen, but behind the scenes, Gary Burghoff secretly called the original bear Tiger.
You should be able to sleep much better tonight with this information.
I lost it after reading this. I was abso-fucking-lutely dead 💀
Of course, everyone's first thought is, "Who broke rule number one?" 😂😂😂
But it is 100% true.
We're back to polls not being real. It happens every election year about this time.
It's great to read a poll that shows you're ahead but then there are others that try to disprove it.
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
Pay attention to the people who are doing their best to destroy your vote right in front of your face by distracting you with polls.
Just show the hell up and vote. Make it where he has to say, "I just need 2,311,078 votes..."
The government knew how to stop the Kennedys.
Just kidding. I would never say something like that and be serious.
You know me. I'm just a silly guy. I'm not smrt.
