What im doing is being objective. Iโm not saying Sirianni is perfect. Iโm saying Eagles fans generally are hardly ever objective. And by extension the national media is not either.
Andy Reid was a good coach. Pederson won a SB against NE with a back up QB. Sirianni has never missed the playoffs been to two SBs and won one of them. So Reid isnโt even the 2nd best HC in Philly history.
Objectively speakingโฆthat is impossible to do if you are (or have) a bad HC. Itโs impossible. Reid couldnt do it in Philly and heโs considered one of the best in history.
Why is Sirianni and Hurts judged in a way that no other HC and QB is judged? Every outstanding result gets some bullshit caveat. Every failure is a lack of intelligence and talent. Itโs kind of ridiculous.

Gruden. I think it would be idiotic to replace Sirianni. In his first 5 seasons he is a top 5 HC - ALL TIME. But yeah, I have been in Philly for a long time and between us fans and the talk radio people, you actually can room someone off the team. Iโve seen it.
Itโs stupid. Put Sirianni up against McVay and Sirianni beats him in every category that matters - RESULTS. And all of the outside experts and super fans and ball knowers have zero clue whatโs really going on behind closed doors.
Sirianni takes the Birds to 2 SBs, wins one, and barely loses the first one, has never missed the playoffs, has 2 NFCCGs and 3 NFC East crowns in 5 seasons.

Well color me impressed. I believe @BruceDMaiden liked my post, which means he understood what I was saying, is very cool, and is as I stated: an all timer.
As individuals, Freddie Mercury is the best rock singer in history. Brian May is a better guitarist than either of the guys in Maiden. Their music and harmonies are put together in such a way that it elevates whatโs already terrific.
That doesnโt mean that Queen didnโt write some awful songsโฆthey did. And it doesnโt mean that I think Iron Maiden is bad. As a matter of fact, Bruce Dickinson is an all timerโฆSteve Harris is as well. Iron Maiden is a great band.
In my opinion, they werenโt in the top 5 bands of all time, and for me Queen is top 5 all time.
