Over 50 countries joined a 🇺🇸-hosted consultation on a UN First Committee U.S. resolution on non-proliferation, arms limitation, and disarmament obligations. DPR Taylor urged support, stressing compliance is essential for regional and global peace, security, and stability.

The @StateDept , supported by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory partnered with @Marocdiplo_EN and @FAR_Maroc_ to bring practitioners from 10 African States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) to participate in “Atlas,” a three-day tabletop exercise focused on preventing, detecting, and responding to chemical terrorism threats. Through interactive discussions and exercises, and under guidance from a diverse set of experts, notably from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons @OPCW, participants explored ways to strengthen cooperation and preparedness to address evolving chemical security challenges in a modern-day setting.

Thanks to Amelie Klussman, Security Policy Director at Germany’s MFA, for today’s discussion. Built on the foundation of NATO extended nuclear deterrence, Germany’s reindustrialization and increased defense spending are key to advancing NATO 3.0.

During the U.S. hosted @IAEA ATLAS Ministerial launch event, we traveled to visit the NS Savannah in Baltimore, MD.  The United States produced the world’s first-ever nuclear-powered civilian ship, and 🇺🇸 will continue to lead as we look towards the next generation of this technology.

Signing a Strategic Civil Nuclear Cooperation MOU with Paraguay is just another step in the continued growth of our relationship between our two countries. We’ve always had strong links between the United States and Paraguay, and now, those links are even stronger.

As a co-founder of the Nuclear Forensics International Technical Working Group, @NNSANews attended the 29th Plenary meeting in Berlin alongside @FBI and @StateACN. International collaborations contribute to American capability to prevent nuclear threats and hold perpetrators accountable.

It was a pleasure to visit Gen SL Davis at Air Force Global Strike Command, discuss strategic stability and forces in depth with his staff, and speak at the 2026 Nuclear Triad Symposium. Arms control and strategic deterrence must go hand in hand to ensure the safety and security of the United States and its allies.

I’ve designated the Ecuadorian gang Chone Killers as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and Specially Designated Global Terrorist. Ecuadorian gangs help Mexican cartels move and export illicit drugs to fund terrorism and criminal activity. The Chone Killers have attacked civilians, law enforcement officers, and government officials, including high profile assassinations of public officials. Working with President @DanielNoboaOk in Ecuador, we will continue to strengthen our regional security and ensure narcoterrorists have no place in our hemisphere.

ACN was pleased to host the IAEA's first SMR School implemented by a vendor country. The workshop convened U.S. SMR developers with 28 countries on our innovative technologies. Productive meeting with @jiribr on the sidelines of the @pssi_prague conference. We discussed Czechia’s burgeoning defense trade with the United States, as well as U.S. arms export control policy, the benefits of the America First Arms Transfer Strategy, and dual-use controls. 🇺🇸 - 🇨🇿
