So you live near pikesville? Because in November in the beginning of the month right now it will be 12:13 p.m. Central daylight time or Eastern Standard Time So I also know that pikesville is 82.52W well the time zone line is 82.50W A time zone is like you're trying to follow the Sun But the Earth rotates. So since it rotates it's every 15°, So near the switch of the time zone -7.5W,22.5W -37.5W, -52.5W, -67.5W, -82.5W, -97.5W And the middle of the time zone is us -15W,-30W, -45W, -60W, -75W and -90W I'm getting to the point when the highest point of the day reaches that place like pikesville Even though noon changes everyday I do the average so The average noon is closer to 12:00 p.m. High noon, but if it's in the central time zone High Noon would be at 11:31 A.m. which is closer to 12.. When you're on Eastern Standard Time, you're out of sync because noon is closer to 1:00. Since the sun goes 15° per hour, it's better to keep time zones to better better suit our need, not gerrymandering

Looks like you want to end DST. You want to to keep the evening sunlights as well. So I know this is not a good solution and I'm giving you the best advice I can give you. I'm not attacking you but is this a thought? Have you ever thought of waking up early like you did in high school? Like I used to wake up at 6 :30 and I live in Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh and it was pitch Black. But when I grew order I grew into it. When I work daylight. During the summer I work 7:00 to 3:30 but I still wake up at 6:30. I still have daylight end of my day but I'm also waking up in sunlight. I want to and enjoy the evening Sun just like you. The only thing I will have to do is to wake up earlier and start my day or earlier even though I might not like that at first. But you get used to eventually and And I will start start to enjoy it. It took me awhile to start liking some things because it messed me up because of what I'm so used to. But if you try the way I'm telling you, I think you will be a lot happier. Another thing, do you like waking up earlier or do you like going to sleep later? Because this is a trick question I'm going to ask you

Hey, I'm autistic too including my friend. I understand completely what it's like. Adjusting to a new time zone or just switching clocks in general is hard.. it's hard for me to as well People are different. You are different. I am different I rely on the sun that goes down and goes up at the right time for me. I rely on standard time while you rely on DST. You're probably so in sync with DST that you rely on that for your daily activities. And if someone screws that up for you is like end of the road for you I get it. I truly get it. It's okay for being mad. Sorry for being disrespectful. Sometimes we don't know how to react in some situations, it feels like we're attacking each other or someone that is attacking you

Dude, you're on eastern daylight time UTC- 4. You're living on double Daylight Saving Time. If you live on Eastern Standard Time, it'd be UTC -5. It would be daylight saving time. Wish this also not good, especially in the winter time If you live on Central Standard Time. That's the best choice to go for safety and health if you don't like 4:15 p.m. Sunsets then the best advice I can give you is to wake up earlier and start your day earlier. Ask your boss to come in earlier

Starting DST in March's way too early. If you want a civil compromised then DST should start in the beginning of April and end late September

Kentucky doesn't belong in the eastern time zone at all. Get real

Dude, Kentucky doesn't even belong in the Eastern Time Zone. Get a grip. Yes, Kentucky is in the Eastern Time Zone in the east side. What this map shows is that Kentucky doesn't belong in the Eastern Time Zone at all. It belongs in the central time zone

It sounds to me that waking up earlier and start your day earlier is perfect for you

No we do not. If we keep Eastern Kentucky or Kentucky in general in the eastern time zone Kentucky will be out of sync. Plus our bodies will be out of sync. We need the Morning Light not the evening light Who cares if the sunset is at 4:15 p.m. nobody cares. If you care so much, how about you? Wake up earlier and start your day earlier. Majority of the people once the Morning Light and Sunrise is after 7:45 of Kentucky

You mean 5:30 or 5:27. Because if you go on standard time it would be 5:30. But if you go back another time zone like the Central Standard Time it will be 4:30

Summer is too hot for DST We are miserable. We cannot even go outside during night time because it is too hot and light. We are already going to sleep. If you were on standard time at 8:00 when it's starting to get dark we can actually enjoy going outside and to sit on the porch and watching the sunset when it's starting to get cool

With DST now, they dont do anything. No one is outside at 830pm. Everyone is inside preparing for sleep and winding down. Healthier to exercise at 530am compared to 9pm.

Just wake up earlier and start your day earlier so you can have your evening light. That's a win. Let everyone sleep and not be selfish and not have everyone hate you. That's the win. Not force everyone to wake up earlier because of you. That's a win Starting your day earlier and leaving work earlier so you can have your sunlight. It's a win
This is not a true compromise. A true compromise is to stick with Standard time all year around and for you changing your schedule by 1 hour. If you want your evening Sun fine by me. Just get up 1 hour earlier and start your day one hour earlier. Nobody stopping you

What DST supporters actually think? What are we going to do when we're on permanent DST in the evening ? The answer is nothing because it's too cold to do anything. We cannot go outside especially up north like Pennsylvania Nice try!

DST does require everyone to wake up 1 hour earlier If I wake up at 7:00 in the morning every morning for work or if it's my routine and the sunrise is at 6:40 a.m. And I'm waking up in daylight And we're on Standard Time but when we switch the clocks to DST and I still waking up at 7:00 and the sunrise is now at 7:40 and I'm waking up in darkness then yeah I am waking up 1 hour earlier DSTmandates everyone to wake up 1 hour earlier each day without you realizing it tricking yourself next year on March 13th I'll be waking up in daylight, but when it comes to the next day on Sunday I'll be waking up in darkness So get your head out of your butt and stop telling lies
DST doesn’t require anyone to wake up earlier
