We support Standard Time. We don't Support DST. Most countries are on Standard Time. LETS JOIN PERMANENT STANDARD TIME WITH OTHER COUNTRIES WHO SUPPORT IT ♥😁

Please choose wisely. Permanent Daylight Saving Time should not be an option. It's been proven that Daylight Saving Time is bad. Please choose Standard time. We can handle 4:30am sunrises and 4:30pm sunsets sure we don't like it. But we need to put our health first. Standard!

Today is Monday, Sept 14, 2026. This is the sky as @DuvalSchools staff were arriving to work at 6:02a EDT (1) and kids were waiting on their busses in the UNF area at 6:10a EDT (2). Why do politicians want our kids waiting for school in the dark?? #DitchDST @SaveStandard @SenAshleyMoody @AngieNixon @SenRickScott @RepRutherfordFL

Michigan should ideally observe Central Standard Time, but Eastern Standard Time is at least much better than Eastern Daylight Time!

Americans agree that switching clocks 2X a year is bad, but locking the clock on Daylight Saving Time is worse! Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. That's why I introduced the Sunshine for our Kids Act.
Did the U.S. try yearlong daylight saving time before and hate it? Yes. Polling showed it wasn’t popular, and what was meant to be a two-year trial ended in a few months. buff.ly/QvGwpxG

What DST supporters actually think? What are we going to do when we're on permanent DST in the evening ? The answer is nothing because it's too cold to do anything. We cannot go outside especially up north like Pennsylvania Nice try!

DST does require everyone to wake up 1 hour earlier If I wake up at 7:00 in the morning every morning for work or if it's my routine and the sunrise is at 6:40 a.m. And I'm waking up in daylight And we're on Standard Time but when we switch the clocks to DST and I still waking up at 7:00 and the sunrise is now at 7:40 and I'm waking up in darkness then yeah I am waking up 1 hour earlier DSTmandates everyone to wake up 1 hour earlier each day without you realizing it tricking yourself next year on March 13th I'll be waking up in daylight, but when it comes to the next day on Sunday I'll be waking up in darkness So get your head out of your butt and stop telling lies
DST doesn’t require anyone to wake up earlier

If permanent DST did not work in 1974, it's definitely not going to work in 2026 Tell your Senators to not pass Sunshine Protection A Tell your representatives and senators to support and pass Sunshine For Our Kids Act

I hope permanent DST is DOA. It didn't work the first time, stop wasting time and money on this nonsense when there are more important things to accomplish.

This is not my video. I do not own the music But happy halfway to Christmas everyone. We're less than 100 days until we switch our clocks again to standard time the right time. Since we have less than a hundred days of DST, the sunshine Protection Act seems like it's dead on arrival or stalled. So we won't be on permanent DST. Thank goodness. But luckily when it hits November we will be at the right time when light is balanced in the morning and evening. Who loves 5:00 p.m. Sunsets? I do during Christmas season. Ps: please tell your senators to not pass the sunshine protection act. Please tell your representatives and senators to pass the sunshine for our kids act

This is not a true compromise. A true compromise is to stick with Standard time all year around and for you changing your schedule by 1 hour. If you want your evening Sun fine by me. Just get up 1 hour earlier and start your day one hour earlier. Nobody stopping you

Split the difference and be done with it.

Keeping Standard Time from 4 months is not a win on both sides A win on both sides is having standard time in DST for 6 months each from the first weekend of April to the last weekend of September, that's a win on both sides But a true win on both sides is keeping Standard Time all year round And letting people to go into work 1 hour earlier awesome option. Letting people to change their schedules. Not force everyone to wake up one hour earlier. Just wait until you still an hour in the morning when it should be daylight of how much a disaster it will be. People don't like evening darkness. I get that but people do not like morning darkness even more. In 1974 support for DST was 79% and dropped down 42%. So that did not go well. So let's try standard time all year-round for once
Fine, I’ll give you your four months of Standard Time, even though I’ve never met a single person who celebrates “falling back.” But if you think people hated permanent DST, just wait for the reaction when you try to steal an hour of late-day sunshine from them in the summer.

👏 US @RepGabeAmo (D-RI) now sponsors the Sunshine for Our Kids Act, to restore healthier/safer permanent Standard Time nationwide, while permitting permanent Daylight Saving Time for the minority of states insisting on that—thank you! 👉 Tell your congress members to sponsor!

What YOU can do in 3 minutes: Call 202-224-2131 three times: leave messages for each of your two US Senators AND Senate Majority Leader John Thune, ask them NOT to vote for the so-called Sunshine Protection Act, but sponsor the Sunshine For Our Kids Act instead.

We don't want this . We want standard time and fix our time zones so we can fix our time zones
If we made DST permanent, here's what December 1 mornings would look like. As someone who lives in northwest Texas, I'm not thrilled about an 8:xx sunrise in winter.
Studies show later sunrises mess with circadian rhythms more than later sunsets help. Worth it for the evening light?

Good sleep is already hard to come by. Sleep experts say standard time is better for our health. If we go Congress’ route to make daylight saving time permanent, then most of us, including people without flexibility in their work schedules, will be negatively affected. 1/2

I agree with Tom. I voted no - if you want one time, it should be standard. But color me crazy, I’d like to FOCUS… codify Trump border policies, fix “birthright citizenship,” enact SAVE, ban congressional stock trading, stop corporate & govt surveillance… etc…

Even more arbitrary are the time zone lines. If they were more closely aligned to true noon at the sun's highest peak, schools would start at 8AM again and activities would match sunlight, rather than trying to make sunlight match the activity.
