So you live near pikesville? Because in November in the beginning of the month right now it will be 12:13 p.m. Central daylight time or Eastern Standard Time So I also know that pikesville is 82.52W well the time zone line is 82.50W A time zone is like you're trying to follow the Sun But the Earth rotates. So since it rotates it's every 15°, So near the switch of the time zone -7.5W,22.5W -37.5W, -52.5W, -67.5W, -82.5W, -97.5W And the middle of the time zone is us -15W,-30W, -45W, -60W, -75W and -90W I'm getting to the point when the highest point of the day reaches that place like pikesville Even though noon changes everyday I do the average so The average noon is closer to 12:00 p.m. High noon, but if it's in the central time zone High Noon would be at 11:31 A.m. which is closer to 12.. When you're on Eastern Standard Time, you're out of sync because noon is closer to 1:00. Since the sun goes 15° per hour, it's better to keep time zones to better better suit our need, not gerrymandering

Dude, Kentucky doesn't even belong in the Eastern Time Zone. Get a grip. Yes, Kentucky is in the Eastern Time Zone in the east side. What this map shows is that Kentucky doesn't belong in the Eastern Time Zone at all. It belongs in the central time zone

You mean 5:30 or 5:27. Because if you go on standard time it would be 5:30. But if you go back another time zone like the Central Standard Time it will be 4:30

How is that shitty plan? You're actually doing that right now. You're waking up at 4:30 a.m. Standard time if you're waking up at 5:30 A.m. DST So we might just stay at the standard time and let you wake up earlier like you do right now. That's a great compromise for me and you let everyone else sleep. Not forcing anyone to wake up earlier because of you being so selfish And science says you're stupid and you're wrong. You idiot That you did not know anything about this subject and should just stop talking

What DST supporters actually think? What are we going to do when we're on permanent DST in the evening ? The answer is nothing because it's too cold to do anything. We cannot go outside especially up north like Pennsylvania Nice try!

No, it's not. It's earlier.,not later, earlier Like I said I wake up at 6:30am and Sunrise is at 6:30 a.m. And it's on standard time I'm waking up in daylight. But when we switch clocks the next day Sunrise will be at 7:30 a.m. I'll be waking up in the darkness because I'm waking up half an hour. And in reality I'm waking up at 5:30 standard time. I am waking up 1 hour earlier than I should. So now you're not getting the same amount of sleep when we search clocks. And also we're losing sleep when we're on DST average of 19 minutes So we are waking up 1 hour earlier

You know Google, it's free you know that right? Science tells me otherwise that you are wrong about that. Short-term will leave a spike sure. But the long-term effect is even more painful And leave more of a dent The long-term effects or the main problems even though we have 8 months of the year doesn't mean we need to have it permanent. We need standard time permanent so we can have the Morning Light

It's not just the short-term. It's the long-term as well that people don't think about. It's time to think long-term. Because it increase heart attack, strokes, cancer rates, suicidal rates, depression and crimes. Because there's no morning night, then we should not even be on DST at all long term

No it does not need to be extended. It needs to be shortened or abolished. If we shortened it, I would have it the first week of April to the last week of September or from mother's Day to Labor Day But DST don't need to be all year around. We already tried it twice once for world war II and 1974. Both of those failed, especially the 1974 because kids got hit. So if it did not work in 1974 then it's not going to work in 2026. Even though DST is 8 months of the year doesn't mean we need to make it permanent. If you want your evening light then get up earlier and start your day earlier and stop forcing everyone to get up earlier. Our bodies need the Morning Light not the evening lights. Science shows that and is still a light after 30 minutes after Sunset. So the cities that you have shown it's still light after 4:30 p.m.

piped.video/U8GthvZNG0o?is=6sfx… That's a better video of what I'm talking about. This is probably a video that you should go on and read the description and watch the video If I'm not mistaken the sunset was at 5:02 so it did not get dark till 5:32

Come back to me in 5 months December 10th. Share your photo and proof of time I'll be waiting patiently But here's a couple videos that my friend took in the winter to show a point I mean That gets dark 30 minutes after Sunset piped.video/pljW9pHRutQ?is=O7Rj…

And I'm telling you you are wrong. What side of the state you are in Northeast Southwest. Because it does not get dark at 4:30 even with clouds It doesn't matter if you live there your whole life. The earliest it will get dark in your state state is 4:49 p.m. after 4:49 that's when it will start to get dark. The earliest latest it will get dark is 5:10 and that's in the west side of the states. So do you keep talking from your ass? You're talking about the short-term. It's not just about the short-term. A long-term as well. All these strokes heart attacks, depression suicidal rights cancer diabetes is long-term, not this short-term And daylight saving time is not going to save your ass or anyone's ass in this. And you're wrong. We do need sunlight at 4:00 in the morning so we can feel refreshed, happy, less depressed, alert, and be ready for the day. We need the warning light to wake up naturally without an alarm to feel full rested If you think it's going to bother you, then get blackout curtains or like I said, start your day earlier like you're doing right now and stop being so freaking selfish. Forcing everyone to wake up 1 hour earlier because of you, the minority who supports DST thought wants summer into winter. That is not even possible
1

Because night should be night.... Not light at night Plus it's unhealthy for us to be on DST. It can increase strokes, heart attacks, seasonal depression, suicidal rates, crimes increase cancer tiredness When we have the Morning light like we should be majority of those problems will go away. When we have the mooning light we will wake up refresh. Happy less depressed, alert, less tired, and be ready for the day And in your state the earliest sunset is at 4:18 p.m. And usually doesn't get dark until 30 minutes after Sunset, so it's pretty much 4:49 p.m. at the Northeast side at your state. And the majority of the places doesn't get dark until after 5:00 p.m. or 5:30 pm If you want DST or evening light and at the end of your day then be my guest. Please wake up 1 hour earlier everyday and start your day earlier so you can leave earlier at work Plus we already tried permanent DST before in 1974. If it's not going to work then it's definitely not going to work now. This will be the third time if we do permanent DST And one last thing night should be night not light

This is not my video. I do not own the music But happy halfway to Christmas everyone. We're less than 100 days until we switch our clocks again to standard time the right time. Since we have less than a hundred days of DST, the sunshine Protection Act seems like it's dead on arrival or stalled. So we won't be on permanent DST. Thank goodness. But luckily when it hits November we will be at the right time when light is balanced in the morning and evening. Who loves 5:00 p.m. Sunsets? I do during Christmas season. Ps: please tell your senators to not pass the sunshine protection act. Please tell your representatives and senators to pass the sunshine for our kids act

And if someone disagrees with you, it's like the Trump deragement syndrome All up with their feelings and denies the true facts . Denies the true history. Denies the logic. Denies everything about with DST. All you guys want to hear is good stuff which is not reality But at least we're giving people option to wake up earlier and start their day earlier and not force them like you DST supporters are

@SenMarkey You're making a wrong mistake. Majority of Americans don't want permanent DST. It cost chaos and destruction to our system. It cost chaos for our students for our workers for health. It cost destruction to our bodies Even though we tried it in 1974, we should never go back of the stupidity that we caused for everyone one and our children. It was a complete disaster in 1974. We do not want to repeat history. We must go to Standard time. Yeah, we will have 4:30 a.m. sunrises in the summer and 4:30 p.m. Sunsets in the winter but who cares. People can change their schedule if jobs let them to. So we should do everyone a favor of like businesses open earlier.. For the sake of our health, for our children, for the economy, And far asleep. Please do not pass the Sunshine Protection Act The majority of the people wants you to pass "Sunshine For Our Kids Act" it would give you permanent Standard Time for everyone. For balance of light in the morning and evening, it would give light for school in the winter when the students are going in to learn. Our bodies need the Morning Light to survive. Nobody wants to wake up earlier in the dark. It will make our bodies tired. We don't want past 8:00 a.m. Sunrise we want to sleep. We want daylight in the morning so we can wake up alert, refresh, happy and less depressed

Representatives and senators please listen to the people who voted you in. Most Americans wants Standard Time, not DST. DST is bad for health It can increase depression, strokes, heart attacks, cancer rates, suicidal rates, and fatigue because there's no Morning Light. We already tried this in the 1970s yes people don't like darkness in the evening but they hate morning darkness more. That's why I got repealed less than 10 months. When we're on standard time that matches our body clock. When we have the Morning Light we can actually wake up a lot more easier. Feel alert, feel refreshed getting enough sleep. And you won't be waking up with the alarm. Most of the time. You will have less depression, less suicide rates, less diabetes, less cancer. The kids hormones are out of control. The kids needs to go to school later. They want to sleep later wake up later. We need to provide that for them standard time provides that for them. Standard time is the way you go. Do not pass the sunshine protection act . Please pass Sunshine for our kids act of 2026

Tell them no on the Sunshine protection act . We already tried permanent DST before in the 1970s and handful of kids got killed because of drowsy driver and in the darkness Moving schools later 1 hour is not going to cut it We need the government to stop telling us the time we are waking up 1 hour everyday until November in the dark This is what I was like in Latrobe Even though it says new. Alexandria, this is actually taken in Latrobe find me real one light at 8:00. We do not want darkness at 8:00 PLEASE TELL YOUR CONGRESS PEOPLE KNOW TO THE SUNSHINE PROTECTION ACT AND PLEASE PASS THE SUNSHINE FOR OUR KIDS ACT OF 2026

Not really. When it comes to standard time when we have the Morning Light, it's actually better for our health because we're actually waking up later normally without an alarm. When there's daylight in the morning before we wake up, we will feel refreshed, alert, happiness and less depressed. Suicidal rates will go down. Bad decision making will go down/ crimes will go down When it goes to permanent DST it's not just the short term. It's the long-term as well. That hurts us the most because since there's no Morning Light now it's in the evening. We're waking up 1 hour earlier in the dark there's no brightness, no happiness. We will have to use the alarm the whole time. It will increase heart attacks, strokes, suicide rates, crimes, cancer rates will go up. Seasonal depression will go up But overall standard time is not the problem. It's the lack of light in the winter is the problem people think that standard time means earlier sunsets And less daylights which is actually not true. You're getting the same amount of daylight 9 and 1/2 hours. Some parts 10 hours People think we can brain summer into winter which is not true they think Leonard daylight in the summer equals DST which is also not true Logically. What they do like is more daylight hours that's summer bring. So overall standard time is the smart decision to go to for safety and health. But when it goes to DST is harmful for health and sleep

If you're on Standard Time, we will still have light past 8:00pm

I would have never thought that would be 4000K. For me it snows And it reflects the light to make it brighter outside when it snows or snow on the ground. So the photo that I took from the street is the color that it is during night time. That's when we had the whole snow on the ground. The other photos might be a little bit yellowish just a tiny bit because of how my camera was positioned. This was taken late January of this year because of that cold snap and the snow In December we had to know but I took a picture of a church right in front of me and they had orange lights That's what It looked like during night time when we had snow on the ground I'm going to say that's like between 1800K-2500K I will have to lower my standard then. 2700K- 3500k is my standard. To me it's the most natural in my opinion, but I am okay if we actually have to go lower like 3000K or 2700K To tell you the truth, maybe we should go like full daylight when it goes to highways (like on an interstate or maybe on like routes), When it goes in town about 3500k but on resident streets 2700k or 3000K

Majority agrees with standard time The last two photos has been taken an hour apart 8:35 p.m. On DST and the second photo at 8:35 p.m. Standard time (or 9:35pm DST) There's no reason to have light past 9:00 p.m. at all. These two places are from the Northeast corner in the Southeast corner. It's nowhere near 3:50 a.m. It will start to get light after 4:00 a.m. The earliest sunrise from the state is at 4:31 a.m. birds will still be chirping no matter what at 2:00 in the morning. Find some white noise or play music. I recommend jazz But look on the bright side, you still have Daylight after 5:00 p.m. In the summer you still have daylight after 7:00 p.m.. But luckily you still have your 7:00 p.m. Sunsets for a couple weeks till 2 months.
