Racists have always lost. The Confederacy lost. The KKK lost. Segregationists lost. Apartheid South Africa lost. Racists are fearful and paranoid. They will always lose.

ARLO #A391028 6yo I'm ABSOLUTELY BEGGING u to help precious ARLO Sweet soul, found wondering around, his little hide stretched across frail bones 😭nearly hairless! He's known little love in his short life, only pain, ignored by ALL PLZ #PLEDGE TO ATTRACT A RESCUE #CorpusChristiACS

This is a great 1905 photo from my collection of Geronimo, one of the greatest Native Americans to ever live. He was a true freedom fighter resisting the US who deployed 1/3rd of their Army—6000 soldiers—to catch that one man in 1886. Sadly, he spent the rest of his life as a POW

This is an extraordinary Omaha woman named Beche back in 1868. The white photographer was blown away when he discovered this Indigenous woman was a proponent of women’s rights, spoke 5 languages (3 Native languages, French, English) and led the men on hunting parties—tough woman!

Councils are still issuing new licenses to breed while putting healthy dogs to sleep because rescue shelters are full. The government has refused to ask vets to record how many healthy pets are being killed by owners and councils. While there are no figures, there is no issue, no changes required. Can anyone reading this, please tag their MP in these posts, thank you. #UK #AnyBurnham #Burnham #Labour #animalcrulety @DefraGovUK

🆘🆘 NELLY (ID 260042), 6 YO, MALE – IN QUEENS ACC - came into the shelter as an aco - owner surrender on 7/17/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person health - medical. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿 ➡️TBD 10/3/26 ➡️ 🆘🆘 1ST Chance on Emergency Placement List – VERY URGENT – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱 ➡️ 77 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT ➡️ NELLY IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS -He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. He has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. This evaluation/diagnosis means that will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 What my friends at ACC say about me: I have lived with cats in my previous home. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you. Nelly tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻 NEEDS OUT OF SHELTER ASAP – Please RT or pledge, if you can, to save this little one. @AdamsPaulGrimke @mehser12 💔😿🙏Thank you

Please retweet to help Toby and Milo find a home together #UK Available for adoption, registered British Charity ✅✅✅ URGENT APPEAL – FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED FOR TOBY & MILO . PLEASE SHARE TO HELP THESE TWO LOVELY LITTLE BOYS FIND THEIR BEST LIFE! Meet gorgeous Toby & Milo, two Chihuahua x Jack Russell boys who need to come into rescue through absolutely no fault of their own. Milo (black boy) is 11 years young and currently around 6.8kg. He could do with losing a little weight (bless him! ) and ideally should be around 5.5kg. Toby (tan boy) is 10 years young and a tiny 3.8kg. They may be older gentlemen, but please don't scroll past them because of their ages! These two have plenty of life, love and adventures left in them and deserve the chance to live their very BEST LIVES. They appear to get along with other dogs, subject to successful meets. They've been fine with cats belonging to family members. They've previously lived with young children, but because they're getting older we'd ideally like a slightly quieter home with children aged 8+. Younger visiting children or grandchildren should be absolutely fine. We would LOVE to find Toby & Milo a home together if possible.Their dream home would give them plenty of love and cuddles, regular walks and little adventures, and a nice, secure garden where they can potter, play and enjoy themselves. And we want their new family to have as much reassurance as possible about their health. Both boys will be.... Neutered Fully vaccinated Given a full dental, including a clean and polish. Given full blood tests. Fully health checked by our vet. They currently have no known health issues.Toby & Milo are fussy, loving, friendly little boys who just want someone to give them the chance they deserve. Could you open your home and heart to these two little gentlemen — either as a foster home or their forever family? To apply to adopt, please complete our adoption application here 👇👇👇 bestlifedogrescue.co.uk/adop… PLEASE SHARE, SHARE, SHARE! I am sending this post to let everyone know that in order to speed up posting of pledge call posts, Kayleigh, @adamspaulgrimke, pledge tracker extraordinaire, will be sending out pledge call posts for cats as well as myself. She is a critical member of the team and I thank her very much for all her support and effort. Please check to be sure all pledge call posts are either from my EXACT handle or Kayleigh’s EXACT handle – too many damn scammers out there. Also, if you have not already, please follow Kayleigh, @adamspaulgrimke, and also, RandomBillsFan, @mehser12, another critical member of our small team. Thank you to ALL and please share this post.

#UnitedStates: The case of Christa Pike lays bare multiple reasons why the death penalty should be abolished. The prolonged suffering – physical and mental – arising from multiple failed execution attempts is abhorrent, and cruel. And there are key fair trial questions still unresolved. UN Human Rights Chief @volker_turk calls on the state authorities not to pursue any further attempt to execute Pike. We are also troubled by the increase in the number of executions in the United States. The death penalty has no place in any society.
