@TheJudgeCNBC , SLINK can't be serious.
a 3% buyback over the next two years. That's less than 2% a year! @cnbchalftime
How can buying three percent provide a floor under the stock?
With a $5 trillion market cap, $150 billion is nothing to support the shares.
As seen below
$APPL did its huge buyback ($100 billion) when their market cap was $900 billion.
You can't compare the two buybacks.
None of your guests even mention this....
@DivesTech
And how about the offset... have you looked at SBC (stock based compensation)?
Moreover, has any of your guests mentioned the size of insider sales over the last year.
$NVDA is a remarkable company but this buyback is immaterial.
"First level thinking" - NVDA is buying stock that is bullish.
"Second level thinking" - see above.

Nvidia Hype
All morning the business media is making a lot about the $150 billion share buyback by Nvidia (NVDA).
There is less than meets the eye as NVDA’s market cap totals $5 trillion.
When Apple (AAPL) announced their $100 million share buyback, Apple’s market cap was under $1 trillion.
