Social Security was sold as a program offering retirement annuities that American workers would buy for themselves. FDR called the 1935 Act “compulsory contributory annuities.” The Senate Finance Committee chairman said the worker would know “he himself is providing for his old age.” The government’s own poster promised “a monthly check to you for the rest of your life.” The sales pitch was successful, culminating in Congress passing the law that created the Social Security system. Then when the government’s lawyers went to court to defend the program’s constitutionality, they told a very different story. In Helvering v. Davis (1937), the Supreme Court—essentially adopting the government’s reasoning—upheld the program as a tax and a spending scheme. Writing for the Court, Justice Cardozo explained that the payroll taxes go into the Treasury “like internal-revenue taxes generally, and are not earmarked in any way.” The 1935 law left Congress at liberty to “alter, amend, or repeal” any part of it. In 1960, the Court closed the loop in Flemming v. Nestor. Benefits are not property and not a contract. Paying the tax does not give you an account the government cannot touch. Congress, in other words, can change the deal at any time. That’s quite the bait-and-switch maneuver. Social Security was sold as an annuity. Then it was defended and upheld by the Supreme Court as a tax and a benefit—one that the government can dilute or modify at will.

This was Gaza six days before October 7th. They want you to believe this was a "concentration camp." The point is to generate sympathy for Gaza using the language of the Holocaust while simultaneously whitewashing the depravity and singular nature of the Holocaust itself.

17 days after the Oct 7 Massacre, while Israel was still sifting through ashes to identify the 1200 Jews who were raped & murdered, Zohran Mamdani led a pro-Hamas rally calling for a "ceasefire" even though the IDF hadn't gone into Gaza yet. His wife even celebrated the attack

My beef with Abdul: He says he’s a doctor. He’s not. He’s unlicensed. He’s for abolishing the police. He deleted the tweet, but CNN found it. His staff denied he’s a dual citizen w Egypt. Video shows Abdul saying he’s a dual citizen and he summered in Egypt. He refuses to condemn the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran. He blames terrorism on America’s policies. He calls Israel bloodthirsty. Who uses that language? He says he hasn’t taken a penny of corporate contributions, but his FEC report shows he received $1.9 million in contributions from 629 corporate executives, including from Nvidia, Google and Pfizer. Abdul is a conman.

The final minute of Secretary Marco Rubio’s address in Athens is truly spellbinding if you listen closely. This will go down as one of the greatest speeches ever delivered by a Secretary of State. He perfectly weaved in the history of ancient Greece to show why Western civilization is worth fighting for. Most importantly, it was a warning to the rest of Europe about what could be lost if the West forgets where it came from. RUBIO: “But Europeans and our friends across the West must relearn the lessons our forefathers took from this place and from its history.” “The history of Greece does not just offer us a glimpse of our institutions in the earliest forms. The history of Greece shows us an image of ourselves.” “It shows us that ours is the inheritance of great heroes and we should be proud, intensely proud, where we come from.” “We should marvel at what our forefathers carved out of this countryside.” “The story of our civilization is the greatest story ever known to man, and it began here with the first men and women of the West, from them, from them we can rediscover the virtues, the courage and the strength to confront the dangers that we face in our time.” The entire place erupted in applause at the end. That was a special moment from Rubio.

Political Islam is not compatible with Western Values. The quicker the West comes to accept this the shorter the time will be that it allows itself to be subjected to a second Umayyad conquest. In the 8th Century the invasion took place by foot and on horseback. Today modern transportation allows it to happen much quicker. But the intention is the same now as it was then.

I need someone to explain to me how one President found two men like this at the same time — because I have been thinking about Trump, JD Vance, and Marco Rubio together all morning and something about that combination genuinely does not make sense to me in the most beautiful way possible — because look at where each of these three men came from — Trump, a man who had everything this world considers worth having and walked away from all of it to sit at the most demanding desk on earth — JD Vance, a boy whose father left, who was raised by a grandmother who refused to give up on him, who joined the Marines because it was the only way to afford an education, who went from zero to Vice President of the United States — and Marco Rubio, whose father stood behind a bar every single night of his life and whose mother worked three jobs simultaneously just so their son could have a chance — three men, three completely different journeys, three completely different versions of the American story — and yet somehow they ended up in the same room, at the same table, fighting for the same country — and what I cannot get out of my head is that image from the King Charles ceremony, Trump at that podium, Rubio sitting right there in the front, JD and Usha beside each other a few rows back — all three of them present, all three of them carrying everything this week had been, all three of them showing up anyway — and I thought to myself — this is not a coincidence — this is God placing the right people in the right place at exactly the right moment in American history — and today I am grateful for all three of them in a way I genuinely cannot put into words. 🙏❤️🇺🇲 God, please protect these three men and their families. America is lucky to have all three of them at the same time. If this combination of Trump, JD Vance, and Marco Rubio gives you confidence in America’s future… tell me what that means to you today. Say it below

Marco Rubio with an incredible address to the Western World in front of the Acropolis in Athens: "Over time, we in the West came to feel ashamed of the very things that made us exceptional...The word nationalism became a dirty word, and so we tore down our monuments, we condemned our own history, and in too many places, we taught our children to be ashamed of the countries they would inherit...Today, we find ourselves at a crossroads...the course we take will determine whether the West maintains its place at the head of the world or resigns itself a future of atrophy and servitude and decline. We will either choose to act NOW or lose the choice to act at all."

I like that this timeline points out to this particular event, many others miss its importance: On May 19, 2024, the Islamic regime’s president, Raisi, and its foreign minister, Amir-Abdollahian, were killed in a suspicious helicopter incident. The regime called it a technical malfunction, yet declared both men martyrs. Amir-Abdollahian was an operational asset of the regime: loyal to Khamenei, fluent in diplomatic language, and able to keep channels open without burning the scene. He consolidated the regime’s ties with its neighbors, above all by easing tensions with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and by steadying relations with Sunni Arab states across the region. He was replaced by @araghchi , whose loyalty to the regime is highly questionable and whose record has been disastrous, sharply steepening the regime’s decline. Araghchi has done a great deal to deepen Iran’s isolation, especially through what they themselves described as a decision to punish Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and other Arab states by firing missiles at them. Had Amir-Abdollahian still been there, it would almost certainly have played out differently. The more I watch Araghchi, the more convinced I become that the real target of that helicopter crash was not President Raisi, but Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian. President Raisi was loyal to Khamenei and a judicial-security figure. His usefulness, in my opinion, was indirect: his death produced a successor, Pezeshkian, and it was at Pezeshkian’s inauguration that Haniyeh was killed in Tehran, inside an IRGC residence. Pezeshkian, unlike Raisi, is more a technocrat than an IRGC or security man (he is a surgeon) and these days his ideological loyalty is under fierce attack from the regime’s loyalists. I am fairly convinced that the regime’s surrender, and its dissolution, will be announced by Pezeshkian. Recall Syria: Assad fled, and his prime minister, a technocrat, went on television and said he was ready to cooperate in handing the government over to a transitional authority. To me, the stage has been carefully set, quietly and over a long time. Soon everything will be ready for the final operation. Iran soon will be free.
Chain of events after October 7. It’s been a rough three years for the Axis of Evil.

Oktober 2023 Opfer macht. Schaut hin. Und dann sagt nochmal #NieWieder #weremember
