🚨🇺🇸🇮🇱 Nine Americans have been killed in the West Bank since 2022, and the Senate just voted against even asking why...
A 14-year-old from New Jersey was shot 11 times and a Seattle woman was shot in the head, and Chris Van Hollen argued Washington should at least ask why:
"In just over four years, nine American citizens have been killed on the West Bank by violent Israeli settlers or members of the Israeli security forces and there has been zero accountability."
The resolution only asked the State Department for a report, and it still failed 47 to 51, with Rand Paul the lone Republican yes and Fetterman the lone Democratic no.
Refusing to even document how Americans died tells their families Washington would rather not know.
If November flips Congress, this comes straight back, and it should.

While 51 Senators voted AGAINST REPORTING on ISRAEL’S humanitarian abuses and KILLING AMERICANS in the West Bank, we’re slowly moving in the right direction.
In 2024, 72 voted against it.
47-51: Senate blocked Maryland Democratic Senator Van Hollen's resolution to require the State Dept. to report to Congress on violence in the West Bank and Israel's human rights practices. Paul was the only Republican to vote Yes & Fetterman the only Democrat to vote No. Cassidy & Sullivan did not vote.

I recall back in the day when I exposed Planned Parenthood, people said to me “why would you go after good people?”
Everything touching public money deserves investigation including institutions we “like.” Instead of calling people names, we should look at the substance of they uncovered.
