You do not have to pay everyone around a murder to stay silent once the investigation is incomplete and the contradictions are already public. Fear does the rest, because people stay quiet when they are scared for their lives. The JFK case shows how a botched investigation can leave the record open without buying off everyone involved.

This should be considered a 5-alarm democracy fire.
Trump administration refuses international election monitors for first time in over 2 decades. The decision not to invite observers from the OSCE puts the U.S. alongside Russia and Belarus, while the Justice Department prepares to deploy its own poll monitors. ms.now/news/trump-midterms-o…

When a government official personally bankrolls government operations, it creates obvious fraud/waste/abuse risks: @rookisaacman • Bypasses appropriations & procurement controls • Blurs public/private ownership • Weakens audit trails • Creates reimbursement/self-dealing risk • Evades competition & price controls • Enables undisclosed gifts/favors • Creates conflicts of interest • Undermines segregation of duties • Makes records/FOIA compliance harder • Creates leverage: “I paid for it, so I control it” • Obscures the true cost of government activity • Normalizes off-books government operations There’s a reason this is so often favored by a savvy billionaires who aren’t famous for giving away their fortunes. It doesn’t cost them in the end, it nets them.
Since your profile indicates you are a former NASA, I thought I would flag a few points: 1. I personally pay for all costs associated with the fleet of F-5 aircraft, be that airshows, NFL flyovers, or NASA workforce incentive flights. The rest of the NASA fleet, including F-15s, F/A-18s, and T-38s, requires currency flights to maintain pilot proficiency. Would you prefer they do that over the desert where no one can see them? 2. Obviously, the first A in NASA is Aeronautics, and throughout our history we have taken NASA X-planes to airshows. In fact, a lot of my strategy at NASA draws upon our proud history. We took the X-31 all the way to the Paris Air Show in 1995, the SR-71 was featured at the Edwards Air Show and Oshkosh in 1997, and the X-29 flew at the Dayton and Oshkosh airshows in 1990. It is part of our history, and do you know why? Because inspiring the next generation of engineers, scientists, researchers, pilots, and astronauts is part of what we do. It always has been. 3. It is also our nation’s 250th birthday and the year we returned NASA astronauts to the lunar environment. We are returning to the Moon, building a Moon base, and this is a great time to get out, engage with the public, and tell the NASA story. x.com/NASAAdmin/status/21072…

Under Secretary Emil Michael (@USWREMichael) on President Trump's mandate to produce technology at scale: “You have to have a little more of a wartime footing, and that’s what Secretary Hegseth and President Trump have put us on. The question is: How do we ensure we have the domestic capability to produce things at scale—not just exquisite systems because they work best and represent the best technology, but more of them? That’s our goal.”
.@SECWAR “President Trump has DEMANDED from the War Department: SPEED, SCALE AND URGENCY— TO BUILD AN ARSENAL OF FREEDOM BEFITTING OUR WARRIORS.”

I’m thrilled to see Google and Constellation partnering to add 890 MW of new nuclear capacity to the PJM grid, including through investments at nuclear plants right here in New Jersey. This is the kind of partnership that can move our state forward – helping meet growing energy demand, create new jobs, and keep costs off ratepayers. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Light can orbit a black hole, but it cannot safely stay there. Around a Schwarzschild black hole, photons can follow a circular path at the photon sphere, located at r = 3GM/c². But this orbit sits at a maximum of the effective potential, making it unstable. A tiny disturbance is enough for the light either to escape outward or fall inward, a striking example of how spacetime geometry can balance light on the edge between escape and capture.

One of the distinguished guests I met two days ago told me that he recently heard from an official at the highest level in the Pentagon that the U.S. is in possession of alien technology and related biological material. Access to such materials will save time over the interpretation of fuzzy PURSUE videos.

True love is a gift from God, and we cannot simply create it ourselves. Whereas human love is often tainted by selfish desires, God’s love, on the other hand, is selfless, long-suffering, patient and possesses all the wonderful qualities that Paul lists in his Letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 13). #Youcat

America's strength as a nation depends on our science remaining at the cutting edge—but our research infrastructure has taken a significant hit from the Trump Administration's senseless cuts. I was proud to speak at a Rutgers AAUP rally today to emphasize the need for more federal funding for scientific research and to prevent Trump's political interference in the process of obtaining grants.
