there was great food and wonderful company. we shared memories. current grad students could finally meet the very first trainees. lots of networking. it was better than i could have imagined!

all but 2 of my PhD graduates came. people traveled from Boston, NY, Virginia, and Northern CA just to celebrate the lab. i was thrilled that they thought enough to spend time and resources to come.
