Absolutely agree with this. One of the great modern tragedies is the switching cost associated with normal life routines has become insanely high. Wanna quit your job and travel? Good luck, when you come back you'll be searching 6-12 months for a job and might never find one. Then when you look for a rental you'll have the same problem and it'll be 30% more expensive than when you left. We've made normal living prohibitively expensive for all but the richest people in society, and turned everyone else into a slave.

I think that even the holders, who know the protocol and follow the developments closely do not fully grasp the immense potential and capabilities of the Internet Computer.

Unless the AIs are building affordable houses and curing cancer, normal people simply are not going to care. Normal people will experience 'the Singularity' as 'great, another company firing me and replacing me with an AI, now I'm even poorer than before.'

Landlords push rents higher. Companies raise prices, slow hiring, or cut pay. That's how a boring bond chart turns into your wallet. Now you ask, "WHY are yields going up?" Because govts borrowed TOO MUCH. They kept borrowing again, and again, and AGAIN. Now investors are asking, “Are you actually good for this?” So they demand a higher return before lending more. That higher return is the YIELD GOING UP. So when money gets expensive, everything built on borrowed money gets expensive too. So NO, don’t blame yourself why you're BROKE. Blame the GOVERNMENT. Blame the SYSTEM. Blame the DEBT cycle. They borrowed from the future. Turns out, you were the future.
