New Scottish Social Attitudes findings on discrimination and prejudice in Scotland. ➡️ Positive attitudes towards same-sex relationships have continued to increase, just 10% would be unhappy about a close relative marrying someone of the same sex, down from 33% in 2006. ➡️ However, the proportion saying there is "sometimes good reason to be prejudiced" has risen from 22% (2015) to 31% (2025). Four groups remain at particular risk: trans people, Gypsy/Travellers, people with severe mental illness, and older people.
