The video is from a July 9, 2015 Richland County commissioners meeting in Mansfield, Ohio. The man in that clip, Michael Skidmore, went to prison. He was charged with two counts of felonious assault plus inducing panic, obstructing official business, and two misdemeanor assaults. On July 27, 2016, a judge sentenced him to 16 months in prison.

The assault charges surely were what got him prison time and not the filming, etc.

Of course the judge did. The entire local gov including judge are all pompous tyrants. High on their titles. Out of control, very obviously. This entire situation was purposely set up to play out as it did by the local officials. All are guilty of provoking the entire situation.

...and the government officials escaped the consequences of their actions, in which they assaulted Skidmore first? Who fired the gun, the government official or Sidmore? Yep, a two tiered justice system for all to see.

Did anything happen to the guard, he went over there and yanked The recording device from the guy. If the guard wouldn't have done that, then the guy wouldn't have reacted the way he did. I just didn't sit right with me. Seeing the guard doing that

A internal county investigation followed. Norris was accused of “gross neglect” for not following the county’s use-of-force policy and “insubordination” for not answering all questions truthfully during the investigatory interview. He resigned before the investigation concluded.

May I ask which one is Michael Skidmore? Is that the security officer that approached the man that was speaking? Or was the man that was trying to talk? Which one did present time?

That’s effed up. Anything on the unauthorized discharge?

Cop loving judge I guess. The deputy who fired his gun should have been arrested too. There was no cause for him to draw his gun at all. There must be a mortal threat for police to draw their guns. It's the same for armed citizens, otherwise it's excessive force or assault.

My mom always said you can fight city hall. Mr Skidmore took on city hall and was thrown into prison for throwing punches and biting people when they tried to take his camera.

Man with recorder is an example of crazy that inserts himself in official business. A nuisance that did get too close to lady and touch her. I am sure he was a known threat on the daily to these courthouse officials.

I’m from the area literally a week ago I made a comment on YouTube about how weird Mansfield is after seeing another crazy story from recent. Everyone agreed I guess cuz it went crazy with likes. Mansfield is not big at all and has national news seemingly all the time

Crooked fucking politicians! Fuck the police too!

Michael Skidmore unfortunately lost his case in court because he is actually the one who made physical contact with them first. That’s the mistake he made. But govt workers are trash and they have no right to treat the public like they do. Power trips and corruption.

Bullshit how can other guy fire gun risking all of them, and any child woman man on other side of walls life. When he has room full of help and without a word said came in and assaulted guy without cause. How is he not in jail with the guy at very least?

The gun went off without the officer's knowledge how while he was being punched and in a brief state of shock according to court testimony. This was likely used as evidence against the attacker that led to him getting a year in prison. When you attack an armed guard, you put everyone at risk around you and this is a perfect example of that.

Muscle for the mob. Followers! Not leaders. Low members of the largest criminal organization in history. The government.

He didn't get enough time. He needs to stay in prison.

That's a shame. They assaulted him first

No, he assaulted a women in the meeting touching her inappropriately with the phone, a woman that they were there to protect. Whether they chose the best route to ensure the protection of the women present or not is one thing but the route they chose to grab the phone does not give him the right to start punching them in the face obviously. The jury and judge fully agreed thankfully.
