Efter Labours införande av nya skatter för 2 år sedan har mer än hälften av den förmögenhet som fanns på UK:s miljardärslista, 160 miljarder pund, lämnat landet. Häromdagen meddelade tex David Reuben, vars familj är god för 23 mdr pund att han flyttar.
Eftersom den rikaste procenten stod (!) för cirka 27% av skatteintäkterna får det här sägas vara definitionen på statligt självskadebeteende.
Och det är inte bara att individerna flyttar, de tar med sig sina bolag. Tillgångar säljs eller flyttas utomlands.
Den som propagerar för tilltagande beskattning på entreprenörer och företagare kan titta på UK (Och Norge. Och Sverige på 1970-talet) som varnande exempel.
