I want ai to steal my boring work But not just blindly automate steps Show it how I work, let it understand the context Then have it build the workflow, learn edge cases and improve over time This is the kind of automation i’d use
EXCITED TO LAUNCH: Akai (akai.run) Deel added >$140M ARR in 90 days without increasing headcount by automating~600 Full Time Employees' equivalent in work with Akai. Akai was an internal tool to automate our painfully repetitive operations in Finance, HR, Accounts Payable, and Compliance, etc. We never intended to make this a product. But we watched revenue per employee grow from $130K to $215K We built >8k agents that do the work of ~600 employees It had such a dramatic impact on our business that today we are launching it for everyone. How it works: Say you're automating payment reconciliation: 1. Record your screen while manually matching a messy transaction and Akai will capture your screen, voice, server requests 2. Akai will see that you pulled unformatted wire transfer info from an archaic bank portal, put it in some excel sheet, checked NetSuite invoices, payment history, and put a ticket on Zendesk 3. Akai reads between the lines and build a workflow + steps + conditional guardrails. It learns tacit edge cases, like resolving malformed invoice references without you writing a single regex 4. Simply connect NetSuite, your ledger, Zendesk, PSPs, and even legacy bank portals with zero API access 5. Run the workflow and tell it what to adjust in plain English: "strip slashes on wire memos and auto-apply partial payments." It adapts instantly 6. Once it works for you, add 100s of colleagues. Your entire payment ops team forks and extends the workflow for new PSPs, secondary ledgers, or regional settlement rules 7. We automated 85% of our payment reconciliation end to end, eliminating 500+ hours of soul-crushing manual grunt work every single week. Claude Code/Codex can't do this in multiplayer mode. Every person rebuilds the same skill from scratch in their own way. Deel built Akai to: 1. Understand backend operations edge cases (it had to work for our 7000 person team first) 2. Collaborative across 1000s of employees 3. Self-Learning from millions of runs 4. Optimises cost and gets cheaper every run We're so confident that we're announcing an Automation Guarantee: If our engineers can't automate a thousand of hours of work in your first 30 days, you get a full refund. Book a demo: akai.run if you're an exec at a company with hundreds of employees

The biggest change I made recently was paying for a coworking space Previously I’d bounce around cafes, workspaces or work from home But it was seriously hurting my productivity; i’d spend time finding a place to work, commuting etc Now it’s part of my routine and I can get to work fast I also met some really cool folks who aren’t in tech and it’s fun to talk to people outside the bubble If you’re finding it hard to focus at home I recommend trying a coworking space One of the best choices I’ve made :)

Just crossed $10k/mo revenue 🎉🥹 And got my first BJJ stripe I’ve realized that indie hacking and bjj have a lot in common > Fail 99 times for every win > Show up consistently > Try again and again You can’t fail if you never give up

You might've heard of icon.com - the $12M domain Their story is insane: > launched as an ai ad maker, completely failed > pivoted to the complete opposite: real human ads As a bootstrapped founder, I'll never buy a domain like that But sometimes the willingness to do crazy things, fail in public and try again can be the best marketing strategy The companies you remember are often the ones that took big swings
3 months ago, I sold my 1st company, Skio, for $105M cash. Now my 2nd company, Icon, just raised $30M to launch something the world has never seen. For $1000, we make 6 human creator ads (no AI, 100% real). We find creators, ship products, write scripts, & edit videos. It's risk-free: - Full refund if you don't love your ads. - You don't pay until you review 6 scripts. - Unlimited human revisions. Today, Icon introduces the world's first Agency. We're not building a normal agency: - We bought a $12M domain. - We're backed by Founders Fund and OpenAI + Google DeepMind leaders. It’s impossible to hire a creative team like ours for even $30K/mo: - Creative Directors who've worked with $100M brands (IM8, Obvi, Ridge). They update our format library daily based on winning ads (street interviews, skits, & 20+ more). - 12+ scriptwriters with $80M in Meta adspend. - 200+ in-house editors who've edited 100K ads. One more thing... We're giving away our internal Google Drive with 1000 winning ads that have driven $100M+ in revenue. You can make $100K copying these ads if you know what you're doing. Want the Google Drive? 1. Retweet this post. 2. Comment "icon". 3. DM me this post’s link & I'll DM you back with the Google Drive. [Bonus] Get 3 free human creator ads if you do the above and we end up working together.

One of the biggest risks with mobile apps is your app could be removed unexpectedly Even if it was a mistake, revenue loss is real That’s why as an indie founder, I try to diversify my income sources > multiple platforms > web apps > consulting > sponsorships Never put all of your eggs in one basket Hope shynggys will be able to get their app back 🙏
Apple just removed my app from App Store. It brought me $5k a month and was my only income source...

Our #shipaton project Muso is now available for anyone to try! 😎 We had a million ideas for what this app was going to be. In the end, we're happy with the focus we landed on: gift giving. My advice to anyone building an app is to focus on one thing — it's easier to grow into something big than to build it big from day one. Next up: marketing, plus continued improvements to make Muso even better. Try it out at the link below!

Pricing psychology is soo interesting This user canceled two days ago, then resubscribed Now they’ve paid more than the annual price on weekly 😮‍💨 Some users value flexibility over savings
